For Windows I still stick with Winamp despite the occasional exploit. Plus it has Vent and Xfire integration - not that I use either that much.
Linux - Amarok or Rhythmbox. Songbird was nice but I guess they're stopping support on it.

I just use windows media player. it's the one thing they made that has failed to disappoint me so far.

Im using Rhythmbox on my linux desktop atm, I'm more than happy with it's performance. It's the only media player that has decided to work with my keyboard music control shortcuts whilst not in the application which is always a nice bonus.

I use itunes since i have an ipod. unless theres another program that works like itunes with my ipod..?

I use Rhythmbox to synchronize with my ipod. There are alternatives if you look for them.

I dug out a hole in my keyboard, put a button in and foobar2000 supports it, it's really customizable etc etc. Used to use WMP as well but switched to foobar a few years ago

iTunes because I have an iPhone and I buy a lit of things from the iTunes store. Ives used all the other players mentioned but I always come back to iTunes.
