they are what. 5-8 lvls higher than me, so i have to use trap or i will die, against the warrior i didnt use, the majority i had to because they are all higher lvl than me by a LOT.

EDIT: i can do a video about PvP people vs my lvl without using trap, but imo it's too boring, everyone my lvl dies too fast.

Watching a warlock pvp with trap+sleep bug is like watching a blader that only knockdown stab or a bower that knockback spams.

Simple cheap trick is still simple and cheap. It might give you an easy win, but it's not very skillful or anything.

Best pvp to watch imo is a nuker with walls or a warrior that is good at switching weps.

Ofcourse you didn't use it against him cuz you can't, otherwise you'd just did the same to him lol.

I never used the trap/sleep glitch/bug in real pvp's only when lvl 95+ were spawnkilling me (it was a 86 warrior/lock char)

Where you use the lvl 44 trap move (Laughing head which does absolute damage) and sleep (Which is basically like a stun, but disappears when you attack or get attacked), Pretty much when you use the trap, then sleep (and they both work), they can't attack/move until the trap explodes.

tl'dr: You basically get free attacks on them, where they can do nothing back.

How well does it work against people with cleric sub and holy word/spell? I've never pvp'd a warlock. For that matter I rarely pvp at all on my bard.

I don't think it would work that well against chars with Holy Spell, because of its ability. It can still be used against them though.

If it was a bug, it would probably be removed already, at least not on KSRO. As a conclusion, i don't think it's not a bug and meant to be like that. Same with fire/ice walls blocking debuffs. It's not mentioned, that they do it, but they do it and as they didn't fix it so far, i'd rather consider it as a feature and not as a bug. There are certain ways to avoid this "bug", if you play clever and if you are cleric. Just switch on cleric fast, if your opponent casts the trap and cure yourself with Innocent or Intgerity, then Sleep won't harm you either. I am warlock/cleric myself and i have some experience at warlock/cleric vs. warlock/x pvp too. Anyway i was playing on KSRO and TSRO, where the holy word/holy spell is nerfed, which makes warlock vs. cleric pvp more interesting.

And I don't see why it would've be meant like this, no matter which debuff you cast before the sleep status it will disappear when you put another attack on them. But then when you put hidden on the guy (the trap) and then sleep all of a sudden he's 'stunned' till the trap explodes? How can that not be a bug/glitch?

But it's in the game, I don't say I don't use it but I sure keep it down to the high lvl's when I get raped. Also if he's going to offer them just stun->debuff->sleep and you're done. I'd say fight more euro's where you only got your stun, that would really learn you how to switch etc o.o

That applys only for ISRO. I didn't play there for a very long time. So i am rather used to the reduced Holy Word. That makes warlock vs. cleric pvps a lot more interesting imo. But do you really think, that Joymax didn't notice this "bug" so far? They may be slow with fixing bugs on ISRO, on KSRO they are actually kinda fast. If it really was a bug and they didn't want it to be like that, i guess it would be gone by now, at least on KSRO, on ISRO probably not. My conclusion is just, that it's not a bug and the skill is meant to work like that. If you think it should be changed, ask Joymax to do so, but you should be aware, that they rather care about the korean's opinions than yours.
