so far, the eps are congruent.. but the manga is ridiculously not... it sucks.

To show off his superiority i guess, it'dd be incredibly unrealistic if ichigo would in any way win this fight though T_T or get anywhere close to winning or putting a scratch on him.
Then again, if they are only allowed to release their swords overall, and use their cool cero's on the roof of las noches, why doesnt ichigo simply go back down >.> i mean really T_T ego problems i tell you.

in short the Espada rankings are by and large a joke and since there is no way to prove who is stronger that who unless its explicitly stated then you just have to believe that the rankings given are the true rankings especially since Kubo has made a huge habit of altering stated info almost to the point of retconning...
