Dutch people with @HOME provider can't play SRO anymore!!!!!
hi everybody,
i had same problems like u and @home didnt fix it for me too,
someone give me the advice to use proxifier and now i can play again
i will play with this till @ home finaly will fix this problem but it will take long time i think
also for the people who want to play

we hadden gebellt naar @home en ze zeiden dat joymax niet reageert op hun verzoek om ze te unbannen (klote flikkers reageren nergens op)
dus in andere worden iedereen die @home heeft is flink genaait komt het op neer of het word komende week opgelost of Nooit
en wat dan net zo leuk is is dat hier alleen glasvezel kabels zijn dus geen andere provider voor mij

Ik heb gelezen dat sommige mensen met problemen naar @Home hadden gebeld..
Nu heb ik ook gebeld (Heb het probleem ook.)
De 1e keer, Moest ik de DNS veranderen van de computer (Bij netwerk verbindingen, Geen success)
de 2e keer, Moest ik naar Cmd > ipconfig /all gaan en dan nog wat doen
de 3e keer moest ik de gameserver contacteren...
Sinds AL die opties geen resultaat hadden, Was mijn vraag aan de mensen die het probleem opgelost hadden
Wat heeft u tegen de medewerker van @Home gevraagd/gezegd zodat het probleem opgelost was ?

But It's not @Home fault either,its strictly those beggers from joyless..

That's Farking nonsens. I worked for @home helpdesk and what they are saying to the customers is Farking bullshit. Also a helpdeskagent of @home isn't allowed to call joymax, so they tell you a bullshit story just to keep you happy. These are all reasons why i left. cause @home does nothing, and know in most cases nothing.

That sucks then,if that's true,but i don't suppose you got some proof of such a bold statement?
And let's just assume i believe you,recieving more then 512K mails per day,still makes @Home sit and do nothing?
I would go crazy having to deal with that everyday.

Hello,
With 3 persons playing on Silk in this house we are also trying to get on SRO with @home.
Sunday and yesterday we tried to trace the route towards Joymax (with tracert) to find out if the signal would get to Joy. With 'tracert' we find out that the data packets are not leaving the @home network.
To my opion the problem is not Joymax but the routertables in the network routers of @home.
As an alternative we are playing Knightonline at the moment till @Home is going to fix the problem.
(Knightonline is free and looks a lot like SRO)

i read that some people think @home user has being helpt (by athome) to get online, that's not treu,.....
we didn't get online with help from @home,.. but trough that proxifier progamm.
you have to do exactly what they told and it wil work!
but when proxifier runs,... you can only use the programs that are programmed in proxifier.
i will try to make sceenshot 's of the programm later, maybe it helps.

On the site of silkroad does JOYMAX ask the people who have problem some information.
But we can download the patch the say and we can post the things the ask. Because we can't on there website.

we tried to patch it but it doesn't work
i can't post the patchfile, because it's 35 Mb. We downloaded it somewhere else and install it home on 3 laptops but "0" results.
we still can play via proxiefier, but thats an evaluation version. it runs 30 days,... than its finish!.
Again i send a mail to support@home.nl and klachten@home.nl.

Het onderstaande mailtje heb ik u vorige week zondag gestuurd. Ik heb daarop een antwoord van u gehad en die heb ik er onder bijgevoegd.
Ondertussen zijn we alweer een week verder en is er geen enkele vooruitgang, zodat we nog steeds geen verbinding kunnen maken met de game server van Silkroad.
Ondertussen hebben we contact gehad met oa troublesathome, een ex werknemer van @home en diverse leden van @home en ze spreken allen ‘schande’ van de manier waarop men met dit probleem om gaat bij @home en hoe de leden aan het lijntje worden gehouden met telkens weer verschillende antwoorden. (soms zelfs antwoorden waaruit blijkt dan de medewerker totaal niet weet waar ie over praat, aldus de leden).
Kunt u me vertellen wat er ondertussen gedaan is/wordt om ons van dit probleem te verlossen?

they have to work on it!
Its always the same with @home, they told several months ago about telephone at the cable can be use by members, i answerd it directly and yes i could get cable phone,..... still don't have it ;-(
but i pay the price of cable phone
