I agree with Silo in some points but I understand were the esro staff are coming from.
You can see they are trying to make a pserver that will be better then isro and are trying to improve on things and imo the language barrier that has been ever present on isro is one of them.

We are not planning to do an ip block since it's kinda racist. But everybody who speaks any other language than English in a global or just on general chat will get kicked and or banned. Of course if it becomes a too big problem we could always take actions.

to ban an entire region seems racist to them. they are giving people a chance. if people refuse to follow a simple rule, they get banned. thats it. if someone walked into your house speaking other languages to you, you would eventually remove them. not that hard.

Someone walks into my house and speaking another language I'd try to find out what they are saying. First I'd let them know I don't understand them and start from there. I'd be removing them only if they pose a real danger to me or my home. And speaking another language which is just plainly speaking doesn't hurt anyone.

His server his rules I understand but he shouldn't act like he's not being prejudice.... Because he is. Even if he feels he's not really being racist he needs to step back and look at the people he's excluding because if he was on the other end of that rule he probably wouldn't have something nice to say about the people who create the rule.

Just remember and don't get me wrong. He can be as racist as possible and I respect his right to be that way but pretending that his "rules" isn't really prejudice makes him a joke.

This is the problem with a lot of private servers. You got power hungry nerds flexing their flimsy biceps with their rules. They got nearly the whole community walking on egg shells with their rules and regulations and it is from that same community they want monetary donations to keep the servers running and get some cash for themselves. I am not being sarcastic when I say this but all the power to you...I hope you get all the type of players you seek. I respect your rights and rules but I hope you respect others rights to dislike your cause.

And for those wondering why this sounds like a rant its because I've seen it before. Seen how a small group of people take your money to play on their server and f*ck the community with how they managed it.

Lol, first off, end this discussion, not trying to be a wanna-be mod but if you feel like it's important to discuss about the server's owners actions being wrong or right, take it somewhere else, no need to fill the entire thread with it.

Second, they only said they would keep public language to english only, great decision, english being the most spoken language world-wide it's a fair decision and it will allow people to interact way easier, if you can't speak english, then you're probably (no offence) under 12 years old/un-schooled.

Taking that action doesn't mean they are being cocky, power-abusive, farking the community up, not giving a damn about other people's taughts, or any of that.

And no one makes you play their game, but if you do play it, makes sense that you'll play it their way, the way they planned it to be played, if you get away from that, you should and will be punished.

There is a difference between disliking the use of another language, to complete discrimination of a persons culture to make someone racist.
