Returning, need help chosing between 2 chars

Putting things simple:

I like skysong and lupin

Skysong because I always liked magical attacks and buffs

Lupin due to their nice crits

I tried seeing videos, but I don't know if they're doing good or not because I'm not used to the "standards" of Jade Dynasty

So I'm basically looking to know how both handle in pve and pvp at high lvls (with either mixed build or pvp build)

Skysong: amazing pve cause of def buffs. Low pot usage.
Pvp pretty crap till last tier. Before that almost no attacks.
Skysong can aoe drain opponents sp and endgame can
aoe sleep people.

Lupin: pve is ok. Pvp is pretty awesome cause of an insane
hp buff, crits and running speed. Lupins usually run in, crit
someone and often 1hit, then run out. Others wont know
what hit em.

Thats my vision on them. Im skysong and cant wait to get
back to t5 to do some dmg.

Ok, it seems that now there's animal and human.... What exactly are animal chars?

you mean Athan and Human

Athan currently have 2 factions, arden and balo.

arden: archer/summoner. long distance, high crits and high evasion.
use plants to put negative status effects on players, plants are
static so stay in one spot. use beast summons to summon bears, boars,
tigers to assist you in battle.

balo: big tank. literally big. high hp, high defense, ok dps. they
use axes as weapons. not much else to say really o.o
