New Chinese character.

Post by Tig3ress »

So, I'm considering starting up a new character with some rl friends to level with. But only on a part time basis (Just on weekends). I've tried lots of builds in the past, and I was wondering what I should use this time.

I really would like a build that can use the ice imbune, and would tend to stray away from pure int builds (especialy S/S).

Also, please take into account that I'm going to 3 gap indefinitely (this character wont ever reach the mega high levels)

Could any of you still playing make a suggestion?

Thanks :]

to lvl with others?
i assume its for lvling only then?

edit: maybe till lvl 70,
int hybrid bow with

bow/ice/light

Spoiler!

if you want higher damage and less sp usage then

bow/fire and light ice mix at around 40-60 or 60-40
but since its supposed to be ice imbue...

actually any int hybrid with ice will get you decent damage,
bow would make you a kind of advanced nuker
bicheon would debuff to make up for the weaker ice damage
heuksal already has enough damage, would even be up for force for higher snow shield and debuffing pt-giant pt monsters

you'll just have to name:
what the char is supposed to be good at
what you can accept as disadvantages

for now all we can do is throw every posible suggestion in your direction

Ahh,

Yeah, its purely for levelling >70 (I expect)
PvP is NOT an issue. And are hybrid melee spears any good :)?

I'm just looking for a "fun*" character with ice really.

*fun means no serious stuff IE: what my max hit will be at cap etc.

Spear nuker or glaiver. Those are both pretty cool :)

2:1 int/str Spear/Ice/Light? (like a 69:70 spear, using mainly melee with a few nukes thrown in for fun?)

nukes wont be good at such a hybrid.
true they'd deal some damage but not enough to compete with mere weapon skills.
but yes that build would work

Ice, Bow, Light. Int Hybrid or 70:70.

Ice imbue + arrow combos = kill all mobs. If they get close, dash away and spam more.

Yea. I'm not sure how strong that one his in terms of dmg, but it'll have more survivability than an int hybrid. You'll prob only want 40% snow shield tops. And wear garms since ur missing the def from fire.

My friend's a pure str bower but he took ice just to copy me. KB Spam + ice = really pissed enemies. :yay:

^Lol. I played a hybrid bower, not very good at pvp, but pve was alright. I would never make a hybrid bower over full str.

From what I've just read, I have decided to go with a 2:3 int hybrid spear.

Wish me luck :D
