Tbh, I'm not quite sure what I'd do. If I saw the man lying in blood, I'd of course immediately call the ambulance. But when you see a homeless person lying there, and you don't see blood, I don't know what I'd do.

no it isnt. morality is what the majority deems right. it has nothing to do with gods or rituals. if you want to insist religion = morality, than which religion? generally one religion tends to find it morally acceptible to kill people of another religion for not believing what they do. make an actual arguement to your vague statement.

But while we're derailing: religion goes hand in hand with morals because a lot of core morals we have are taught through religion (love, care for each other etc). The morals have integrated into society and aren't necessarily tied to religion anymore (for atheists), but still religion plays a big part in a lot of people's morals. Some religious people say they would have killed/raped and so on if it weren't for the wrath of god. For many people religion still plays a vital role in determining whether something is right or wrong.
