Time again to Rate SRO

Its been 5+ years now. I think with all the new updates and releases that have happened it is time to show what you now think of SRO. Has your perception of SRO in the past remains the same today?. Or has it changed?

SRO has great potential, Joymax just needs to fix it up and redo the quest rewards so they give more exp/sp, and most of all the bot's. Visually its one of the best mmo's I've seen.

Grinding is too much and too boring, botting is the only way to reach the cap and have fun when u are max level, but Im not going to reach the cap and have fun so silkroad is pointless for me.

8, since its the best mmo i've ever play'ed. If joymax wouldn't lack activity/events/banning bots or what ever, i would definetely give 10.
Reaching cap is not the target, like somebody said in some other topic: way to the cap > reaching the cap

It had so much potential, 3 years back, I would have said 8, or 9, and a future 10. But they've really let me down. I play it with a sense of false hope regardless.

1. It got stupid and shitty. There's really nothing fun to do anymore. Temple runs are ok. CTF buggy, pvp stupid since it's basically boiled down to 1 sun/nova wizzard buffed by warrior clerics and bards. What's more annoying is once you die and get immolated res, ur pretty much invincible until it runs out.

In short, game mechanics and design went downhill for me.

Voted 3. Maybe the game itself is 8-9, but we also got Joymax, bots, and increasingly impossible logins during normal hours in the last couple weeks.

even if you ignore JM, sro is just filled with grinding, the quests are crap (get xxx items from xx monsters), mobs are just repeats and pvp is meh.

In my opinion:

Sro was good like 3 years ago, before all the gold bots. Back then I would have given it a 10. Then it went down to a huge 0.

But during the past months things have really started going better again so I would give it a 7 now, lol

I know a lot of people are voting based on how they feel about the game and that is fine and is to be expected. But besides from letting how you feel helping you to vote... think of yourself as a video game designer and developer. Think about that when you vote.

I love this game and have been playing since 2006. But it has some design issues so I balanced how I feel with how the game is designed and gave it a 6.
