Your forum name should have been a good hint i guess :P

Besides, buddhist- since when would 1x year olds not have the right to give their opinion on drinks?
The world has more then enough places where drinking is allowed at 18.
Anyone with any experience should be allowed to say what they think if you ask me.

Nice assumption by the way- that people mix drinks to 'be able to drink it'.
I bet your 'pathetic friday night's' end up with you drinking your pure scotch alone at home getting wasted like a real man would.

Canadian beer is garbage too. The Europeans are the only ones that get beer right.

it falls under our tax laws when its sold here
slightly higher base price but the lower tax balances it out

Not quite true. The Dutch can't brew beer for shit.
The Belgians however are famous for it. It's one of the few things our glorious nation can do well.

BTW legal drinking age is 16 here.

Fuck you people with your "euro beer is better." bullshit. There are like 20+ microbreweries in my state alone. I have gotten beer from some and its delicious. I got this great Hefeweizen from one of my downtown breweries. It was the most orange and delicious beer I have ever had. There is a small brewery that’s expanding a little out of california its called stone brewery, try their IPA its great. And if you havent had Torpedo by sierra nevada you arent living.

I can't get the small brewery stuff up here in Canada. The only American beer we get is Budweiser, Coors Light, Miller Light and the like. As for Canadian beer, Steam Whistle is good. Molson beers are not something I would ever go buy myself.

I brought a bottle of Sierra Nevada's Torpedo, some 4€ for 33cl. I cooled the beer and prepared myself for a superb beer experience... And damn, that was the worst beer I've ever had. I poured that piss in the sink. I don't even dare imagine what you americans consider "bad" beer.

I like my Budweiser more than Heineken.

I also believe people will like the beer they started with most.

I like...

any beer with a little lime, dunno why really, it started with just Carona then tried more and found out their all good!!

Capriña!!!!!! (rum, sugar, ice and lime.. hmmmmmmm)

Tequila

Champagne (my fav drink evar! but don't you dare feeding it to me tepid!)

Canei (better though less known sweet version of Prosecco)

Good ol' Breezers!!!!

And when you're on a party and there's a big table full of different drinks, softdrinks or alcohol, just start mixing stuff that you like, before you know it it's pretty good! Guess how all those other mixes started huh?

More sales -> More revenue -> More money to spend on promotion

It's not like Jupiler or any other Belgian brand is choosing not to take over the world's beer market. The more people like your beer, the more people will buy it, the more you can spend on promotion. There's just not enough people digging Belgian beer.

But I see where you're coming from. If you don't like Heineken I guess you could see it as the beer version of Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber. It's not good music, but they have good marketing/looks etc.

But let's just agree to disagree this time, because in the end you'll still hate Dutch beer, and I still won't drink any.

true, but it's also better. Prosecco is dry white wine and Canei is Sweet.
