Do People Use those "Useless" Skills?

Is it true that FireWall is more effective absorbing magical damage and ice wall absorbing physical

It says so, but its bugged, same dmg to each.

hey, if the hp of the wall is say 800 but u take a nuke for 10k, do u take 9.2k or do u just lose the wall and atke no dmg.

cause if the latter is what happens, firewall is the best skill in the world. LOL

The wall will take 10000k dmg, you take none.

i seen pros wit ice wall last book....they can tank crazy b4 it disappears..probly like 2-3 hits.

so u get 2-3 hits of time ahead of other dude kilin u

so both firewall and ice wall affect phys dmg? or mag dmg? i'm confused now, if people say its bugged....

as far as i know, both are supposed to protect against both types of dmg. the difference is in their absorbsion. the ice wall takes less phy dmg since it has phy absorb and the fire wall lasts longer against magical attacks

yes,thats why theres such things as useless builds

if you get and use useless skills,u'll end up wit a useless build =p

so...

firewall and icewall are good skills for an int.
can you still execute attacks when casting firewall or icewall as an str?

That way you should be able to do SSS or mars before they even hit you (that's when fighting a full str, since ints will keep a distance)

Thanks to the introduction of mercs in the game these "useless" skills can serve a purpose.
Imagine fighting a guild war and bam!!! 5 mercs appear out of the blue on the opposing teams lineup. ..whoa!! They are nukers too, all synchronized to deliver their blasts to a single target. What do you do? (besides scream no fair :roll:

)
Get your best tanker, probably a blader with his br18 shield, have him cast firewall and then use iron wall shield inside it. While the mercs attack him u use 3 or so guys to kill the owner of the mercs. Sure the blader might probably die but with that 5 seconds you should be able to target and kill the mercs' owner.

See.....those skills arent so useless afterall.

getting tyred of people who only followed some guide someone said will make them very powerfull. 'do it like this or you'll suk' - zz. people who never tried out anything of their own and are looking down at everyone who did, and whos build is a bit different from those 'ah so perfect' ones

of course there are better and weaker skills. skills you definietly need.
my problem is not that there such guides - of course not. its just that i have to listen to people who are calling everyone an idiot who has a single skill not listed in those guides
