idk, win7 tablets have always been sluggish. Problem is that Win7 is meant to be used on a complete laptop or desktop. It isn't really optimized to work well on a tablet or slate (Atom processor device).


I think the iPad will get it's ass handed to it if/when the MS Courier comes out.

Granted that is a just a proof of concept rendering, but this is where tablets or slates are useful, not that bs "email and web browsing experience" that Jobs is touting. Stylus is a must (something that Apple neglected to ship with the iPad and will continue to ignore considering Jobs mocked WinMo phones for using it).

It's almost like Apple really tried to find a purpose for the ipad, but was unable to move past the entertainment front. If you look at where tablets and slates are being used, you will see they are largely used by professionals that need a device that will be able to conform to their everyday needs, not everyday pleasures like web surfing and video viewing.

im not going to bash it but neither will i praise it, apple made a bold move in what i consider the right direction the ability to have papers/magazines, internet and much more on the go is a great idea in theory but has a long way to go it is similar in almost every way to the ipod touch/iphone im sure as time goes on they will show more potential not only apple but other companies going down this direction. i can see in my life time this been an everyday thing by this i mean the idea not the product not yet anyways. in saying that id like to get one to borrow or what ever to see how much difference it is.

I just read on the news that OS 4.0 will have the ability of multitasking, both on iPhone and iPad, will be released soon.
This software has alot more functions then only multitasking it's awesome!!!
Don't know about flash though....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but who would use iTunes if flash is available. I think that's the main reason why they didn't put it in. I've also read that flash is buggy so they didn't want to risk it.
