Noob questions

Post by Disconn3cted »

Is there any benefit to wearing cloth? What is the best way to make gold at low levels (below 26)? Are the items you pick up that appear to do nothing really useless or are they used for something? When I add someone to my friends list does it ask them if they want to add me to theirs?

1. No, other than the fact that it probably has better stats for cloth-wearers.
2. Get a gathering profession and level it with your normal leveling.
3. Grey = useless, white = useful for crafts or quests.
4. No.

If the highest you can wear is cloth, you have no choice. If it's not, go with the highest one unless it really is an upgrade.

2. What is the best way to make gold at low levels (below 26)?

Gathering professions. Usually, ores and bars from mining gives the most gold.

3. Are the items you pick up that appear to do nothing really useless or are they used for something?

NPC all grays. There are rare few ones, like letters and such, but even those are useless.

4. When I add someone to my friends list does it ask them if they want to add me to theirs?

No.

Armory.
Or if you're near them. Right click on their portrait > inspect.

I'm level 26 now and have earned 100 gold from selling wool cloths among other things. Am I poor? Rich? Average?

100g is fine. You really don't need to worry about money until 80. As long as you have enough for spell training.

And riding, don't want to be running everywhere.

best way to make gold is AH all ur drops and doing quests while leveling up.

u'll end up with 10k+ when u reach 80 if you tried completing all the quests in a zone before moving on.
