Go to www.kr.joymax.com/silkroad and let it load AhnLab and then using IE go to the registration page. If it doesn't work then AhnLab isn't installed properly.

It's installed properly, it even gives me some korean message...
Maybe it's cause the KSSN is already used

I don't know if they have gotten much stricter about it or what. I just tried registering and after registration form I got another form which asked me to fill out my parents information cuz apparently i was under 14 (i actually chose the option I was supposed to and the age of the KSSN was about 50 years old so idk why it came up), so I canceled. When I tried to reregister, it said you are already registered. So I tried to log in and it tries to identify me and I must choose an option, by phone, by card or by letter. I'll dl the game tomorrow and see what happens when I try to log into game.
Edit: seemed to log in to the sro website fine now hope I can play tomorrow
Edit2: got C7 and some other korean error for some time, when I finally reached the captcha then I entered it wrong 3 times and now I think my account is blocked or something similar. How long does this block last? And is there a placement of the Korean letters? (for example the vowel is on the bottom etc?)

Account block lasts for 10 minutes.
The korean captcha is relatively easy, just use the on-screen keyboard to see the letters and then combine them by typing them in the right order (just try to find the right order).

I printed out a pic of korean keyboard and used it at the beginning. When i last played, the lacations were in my head and the captcha was fast.

well i dont think im ip banned, I was able to download the client and get to the password screen, so it has something to do with the email i thin, i dont know what it is...I was able to do everything except the email...

someone made an account for me and I couldnt log in, and got the country is blocked msg...of course I was able to download install and update the client -.-

Wtf pay for autopot, that's fcked. I don't think u'll be able to play csro either. The countries who have their own version are IP banned from all other versions.

nah for some reason csro isnt blocked, its just had major lag issues for the past two years LOL

I started it a while ago when everyone just started it was awesome...but the lag was so bad, couldn't solo or party past lvl 42 lol so I quit but now There are proxies that can be used to get a better connection.

Its interesting Csro is the only version that doesn't ban foreigners, they actaully have gms that talk to this GRAnemos guy, who made the first csro guide and english community a while back and who also keep smaking the new pk2 english file. its cool cause the granemos guy reports all the foreign botters to the gms and the gms ban them right away! (rsro bans them too but. . .they still run rampant and you have to use a russian name to not get banned. . .which is retarded) On csro it seems like They like foreign people there...just as long as you dont bot (which is great!)

yeah Jsro is kinda gay with the autopot mess I was like wtf really? I mean im rolling a bard/wiz so I dont have to worry about pots much but...thats only if im in a party, with no party and just solo. . .no autopot is just gay. Ive been there done that way back in 60 cap -.- not going through that again.


only thing that kinda sucks is the plvling thing(its running rampant) but meh I can find some parties at low lvls hopefully

Yay, I luckily guessed the right id/pw. Working on the slow download that seems to cap under 20 kbps. Does anybody know a faster way to download this?

Are you using Internet Explorer? I know people have had problems with using Firefox.

Yea, I'd second that - although Ahnlab loads when using Firefox, Firefox seems to not incorporate it that well and I was still getting passed to the 'Download Plugin' page. Using Internet Explorer it worked fine for both the accounts I had to register.
