pure int nuker?

Ok me and my friend are pretty new to this game, i'm currently building a warrior dual axe now lvl28, and my friend is a wizard/cleric

i was all excited to tell my friend i had just found a elixir weapon with a sos robe (lol) and he said idc i got 200millions and i'm getting my character power levelup to lvl40 (which he paid for..)

so i'm not interested to get "powerleveled" by his lvl40 wizard, so i wanna start a new character with which i'll solo.

i'm really not interested in soloing with a warrior. i wanna start a pure int that will do insane damage. but there's soooo many guides in the guides section here and most of them are from 2007,2008 so really i'm clueless about all that haha.

so here are my few questions:

-what class/subclass do you think i should take?
-will it be able to kill giants on solo? (that's what i like about my warrior my defense is insane giants are easy)
-and what server should i play on? right now i'm playing on Eos and honestly i think it sucks there's nobody over there (i wanna play on a server with alot of people )

if you have a guide that you would suggest more than an other, go ahead i'll need it big time

nuker s/s will be fine ^^ guess so take fire/cold for extra mag and phy def i will farm one to cuz u have snow sheild,blocks, sheild extra def, and always have extra vigors just incase u had to tank a gp alone i think u will do fine (i hope)

edit: let me guess, it's sword/shield. but i tought "pure int'ers" used staff or harp??

sword and sheild yes.. but its gonna suck until lvl 30 when u get the nukes and a good snow sheild

dude listen up u got 2 races (srry my english sux ^_^)

euro:

they have pot delay u have to wait 15 sec as u know before cuz of ur warrior, u can choose 2 mastrey like warrior/clric u want a int char so these are ur choices:

wizz/bard (sux if ur new at the game cuz u use it mostly when u have a pt) and i will be honest u have noise which will pervent moobs from attacking u except gaint but u will be a very easy targer

wizz/clric :

its gonna provide u some healing and extra def u have to be a pro with a good set to tank a gaint alone at ur lvls

clric/bard

same like wizz clric but u have lower attack, people will need u at pt's cuz ur a pure buffer


we go to chino:

chino chars are strong alone they can tank more than euro (at low lvls ^^)

nuker sword and sheild:u can tank gaints just open ur snow and kd him (kd = knock down) and have a bunch of vigors will help u just incase..

Didn't read the whole thread but are you planning to make a nuker without cold? Forget about that as fast as you can.

oh ok so should i take cold/fire? or lightning/cold? and i got other questions

when should i start leveling my subclass? i'm level 11 now and i just leveled my wizzard, didn't take any skills yet

oh and when i look at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=100199 , i see that skills from all 4 elements are needed :o not only from light/cold or fire

This is why I should have read the whole thread. Read the guide and follow it. I thought you were talking about chinese nukers. There are two decent guides out there. Wizard/Bard and Wizard/Cleric, both stated which skill is need and which one is useless.

Why is that really matter? For example you level up your wizard mastery to level 13 (let's say that you are level 18). That means you are leveling with a 5 level gap. Even if you put points on bard and make it 13 it won't change anything. It doesn't matter whether you level up it or don't. You can keep your sp points but it's kinda meaningless since you have to level it up sooner or later anyway. Even if you keep your subclass on 0 or 13 your gap will be 5 and the sp gain is the same. Don't forget that your sub can help you with some fancy skills, but whatever.

I hope you can get what I'm trying to explain.
