Ok So I just called Adelphia/TWC
What they said was that when joymax tried to send the DNS to Adelphia/TWC, they did not accept becasue the were to many failures in the DNS. So Adelphia/TWC does not accept DNS's with so many errors/failure's. So she said that the only thing they could do is nothing,but wait for joymax to send them a Non-corrupt DNS. She recommended we spam them and tell them that their DNS is corrupt and Adelphia will not accept a Faulty DNS.

But here is this Call Adelphia/TWC at

And tell them that you cannot connect to the joymax server. After so many calls maybe Adelphia/TWC will step up and contact joymax themselves.

Do this and maybe we can play again...

So, I understand why Adelphia/TW won't accept the DNS but the question is "WHEN THE HECK IS IT GOING TO GET RESOLVED" ...I'm beginning to think that SRO doesn't care and I'm not going to be able to play with friends for a month or so until I move. This really bites, I have patience but this is rediculous. Adelphia / TW certainly isn't going to compromise their system by allowing Joymax in with those problems and Joymax was allowed before when they were secure, so why doesn't Joymax clean its act up and get back in the game so we can as well?!

i don't get why people who have just time warner before, roadrunner dsl, can still connect. If their DNS is soooo bad why do other providers accept it? SOOOOO stupid, I think the merger is part of the problem too.... Ever since it, I've been getting lag late night. Iono maybe just a theory but i think original TWC users get first use of bandwidth and adelphia users second hands thats why we get lag or we can't access SRO. I'm probably way wrong as I don't know much about networking and ISPs. This is just sooooo frustrating

i jsut got done talking with adelphia. they have no idea what is going on, nor what a fualty dns is.. hence they are currently taking no action to fix this.

Plasma_Jet, Contact Tech Support again and give them the following link to the DNS report (from above).. see if that helps them understand. Let us know if you hear anything. Yeah Chaud, we know it's our ISP's fault (Adelphia, bought out by TW) and it sucks but they claim it's not them. If you're able to connect do us all a favor and tell Joymax to straighten it out... since we can't access them, we can't complain.

I hate how they do all that security bullshit at the last minute, and get everysingle person who uses sertain conections into it.

I have Charter Cable service in Texas and Chaud says he can connect but I can't connect at all. I called customer service and they just said this the 3rd party's end AKA Joymax/silkroad so I don't waht the hell to do. And the 2nd update since the one that screwed people came in and I still can't connect

hey i have exact same dns server as plasma jet and the same problem but when i talked to adelphia they did admit to having other complaints about it.
a freind of mine 2 hours away has roadrunner which the adelphia tech said i now have but my freind can get on but not me?

i also got a hold of a microsoft tech and he could see site then an hour later he couldn't get back on it.

jsro = Japanese Silkroad Online

isro is international sro and jsro is another sro for another country... just means some countries have their own servers and then get ips banned (like the Viet bann) from isro.

most of us on here are using adelphia net or comcast.. its odd .. but adlephia HAS RESOVLED what the can on there end.. its now up to JOYMAX. and there dns and sgame servers.....

If your ISP would adjust and accept crappy DNS info, then there wouldn't be a problem.

BTW, has anyone tried changing their DNS servers to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 yet?
