Uhh, for some reason when I dl brushes they open in notepad, what should it open in.
Grr I cant install these brushes wtf. :cry:

First of all save the brushes to your desktop, then move them to your Brushes folder in the Photoshop directory.

C:\Adobe\Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes

Or just save them to that directory if you'd like.

.rar is a compressed file type. You need winrar or 7-zip or a similar program to decompress it. It's like .zip, but another format. Right-click, "open with", find winrar/7-zip/whatever you have. If you don't have it, dl it.

that or someone uploaded the wrong file, try a different brush set or re-download that one, save it to your desktop, then Open With..

Anyway when he opens the file WITH winrar the file inside which are Brushes is in *.txt file

which is not right

i think it will do if you resave the thing in brushes format :oops:

If I "use" a site it's only for inspiration or maybe new techniques..
The best way to learn how to use photoshop is very easy, practice, practice and yes more practicing ...

Read a tutorial, check if it's something you want to learn. Then make a sig / wallpaper or what ever the tut is for. After you made it by looking at the tut, simply try to do the same without the tut, then try to make something totally different using those techniques.
It's also really good to just try stuff without tutorials, try different filters / blending options / text effects / layer options and anything else.
