That is really old indeed, as far as I can recall, it isn't possible to create names with unique's in it.
Playing Silkroad again:

LvL 92 Warrior/Cleric Active Iris

coulda just been lsyutaru with a lowercase L

You were able to make Uniques as character names at one point.. long since banned tho. :/
