I've yet to played the 1st or 2nd but will give GOW3 a try as it looks like my replacement for the DMC series.

Picked it up and played for about 4hours on Titan mode. I suck at it took like 30 deaths to finish the first part.

Killing Poseidon's horse was just.. -.- Three hits and dead and usually went through a couple cycles then you moved on or checkpoint. Oddly enough killing him was the easiest part.. attack attack attack roll back. Attack attack attack roll back. Then jump up on that vine and jump off. Easy compared to the other parts where he would have like 5 different attacks <_<

Best of the year so far...the boss fights are like watching a movie almost. The joy you get from killing a titan is AWESOME

Bought the game the night it was released and finished it over the weekend... epic game and a really good ending? to the series the boss fights were bloody and epic!
