I'm ready for another round of MMORPG, but a bit more casual this time.

Final Fantasy XIV is the game I've chosen to try. All indications are saying ETA release this year!

Can't wait.

Final Fantasy XIII is a console RPG.

The last Final Fantasy MMORPG was XXI, and that was LONG time ago.

Most definitely. I just can't stand item mall based games. I know you don't have to pay, but it's a real pain to play in them if you don't and it's more expensive than just paying a monthly fee.

My experience with WoW was great and I have high expectation for Square Enix. As long as it's not NCSoft, I'll try any game.

Are you excited about it though? I hope Square Enix pulls through where NCSoft fails. I'm not that excited about Guild Wars 2, the whole NCSoft is publisher thing completely turns me off.

Just a heads up warning if you're wanting something a bit more casual, if they make XIV anything like XI, it'll be anything BUT casual. (12 hour boss fights anyone?)

Not particularly. I've lost all desire to play any mmo's. I have more fun playing the shooters and hanging out irl with irl friends now.

A.Net has more control over their game than other companies have on their's with NCSoft
