The CG looks Lineage-y, the gameplay doesn't though.

Really don't like these cinematic trailers, they're all the same.

Gameplay or a review are better. Anyways the screenshots look decent.

Based on the screenshots, Lineage II still looks better graphically.

Really really limited to character customization. Crashes alot, controls are kinda clumsy and looks like some of it is a direct rip from Lineage II lol

Will have to try more tomorrow, if it doesn't crash.

I might try the game out, but I highly doubt I'll play a lot. Getting bored of MMORPGs. Slowly moving towards back to FPS games.

Attention newbie players of Karos!

The world of Karos Online can be a very dangerous place for those who are new to the game. We should know; we've all been level 1 newbies at one point or another, and we know how it is to be placed smack-dab in the middle of your world-saving destiny without so much an idea of the place where you are!

But fear not, new players of Asmara! For four days starting March 5, the GOs will be holding a tour of the starting point of all Karos Online Adventurers: the kingdom of Berneo. We are inviting all new players from level 1-10 to attend the event. A GO will personally give you new bloods a tour of the important places of Berneo, their NPCs, and tips on making your first few levels easier. During the tour, anyone can ask questions and the GO will gladly answer them. What's more, at the end of the tour, we will be giving out an item that will be helpful to you as you start on your quest to become Karos!

WHAT: Kingdom of Berneo Guided Tour
WHO: For players Level 1-10
WHERE: Starting point of the tour will be at the newbie proving grounds, near Domingo, Channel 1:

WHEN:
March 5, 6, 7, & 8.
1st tour - 0300 GMT (Registration starts at 0230 GMT)
2nd tour - 0900 GMT (Registration starts at 0830 GMT)
3rd tour - 1500 GMT (Registration starts at 1430 GMT)
4th tour - 2100 GMT (Registration starts at 2030 GMT)

NOTE: Only registered players will receive the item at the end of each tour. The GO who will be handling the tour will be announced in-game before registration. Depending on the turnout, we may set additional tours as needed. Karos Online regular and veteran players may also join the tour but priority and registration will only be given to the first-time newbie players of Karos Online.

So to those who are thinking of getting in on the Karos fun, there's no better time than on March 5 to 8! Join the tour, be informed, and be entertained! See you there!

They're trying to get new players to play the game and try it, since Karos is lacking newbies atm... :sohappy:

Agreed, comparing the vid to that screenshot, you would think its made for another videogame, ppl get crazy when they see vids like that, like "zommg that looks awezome! must try"
then they get ingame and "wtf is this shit? this is not what it looked like in the video-.-" "

Participated in the last Frontier: The Newbie Tour.
Was pretty awesome, had a group of about 8 people, including two GOs (Game Organizers) that lead us around the Kingdom of Berneo (Newbie Area) and even spawned a boss in town for us :twisted:

At the end we got some nice potions and thanked the GM's.
Maybe I'll post some screenies laterz.

Hand? I guess you mean the quest arrow, it appears when you only tick one quest in your questlog to guide you. You basically can't get lost in this game, everything's on the world map (M shortcut), monster areas for quests, all the NPCs.... Just follow the quests in the beginning and you'll level hella fast.

Yes, you can pimp items, iirc I have some screens of the GM with his +13 weapon

And classes are Rogue, Bowmistress, Blader, Paladin, Sorceress & Mage divided into three Races & gender locked.
