Interview with gpotato about Cash Shop prices and Fear of Death, starts around 35 minutes in but start listen at 25 minutes so you hear the hosts opinion. it's worth it.

Short version of the interview
1. They will reduce the prices (but not saying how much) but it may take some time to evaluate
2. They dont want lot of people spending small amounts of money, they want less people spending big amounts of money (better pay p2p)
3. You will need to buy items to play in late game
4. Some double talk about how you can get parfume from daily quests
5. Fear of death and other "must buy items to play" will stay as they are

Deleted the game when i heard this, it's not worth it.

I thought this too, but it is not like that as they have putten it. As they said in the end of the interview, it is still beta, changes will be made. Just be patient.... I still got hope for this, they seems to know what they have done wrong.'

That short overview of the interview just took the bad parts out, they said some really good parts too.

All classes are pvp able, and all classer are pve able. So its really down to what you enjoy playing. But I think shaman is a good pvp and pve class, very self reliable

Pali, Shaman and mage dominate most skirmish pvp, psionist are just annoying.

but I would say Pali is one of the best pvp class out there imo, they just don't die =.= and really good tanks for party too. the bad thing about it is the boring grind 123123123

I hope that you have gone out from the "cellar" if you play on empire, there is plenty of quests up there, I think you get like 8 when you just come up from there.

This game is very confusing. Do we play or is it going to remain stupid? Is Russia going to stay stupid? The whole death penalty in this game is way beyond anything that I would have thought any developer would want to implement, knowing players would just leave for a better game.

I dont know really. Hopefully this is something they will just keep until the open beta is over. I will play until it is fully released and if I dont see any changes I see no reason to play, but for now this game is far more than fun. I wont quit.

I'm working on making a straight tanking warrior.

Points in endurance, finesse and stamina and whatnot.

Takes a while to kill things if I don't get crits but nothing can touch me. Just got out of noob land, this side of the game is much more easy to look at than the city walls of the Empire.

Spoiler!

Yeah, it is.

Psionist got a little stale though, that's why I've gone to the other side for a bit.

I left the town at level 10, but came back at level 11 just to finish the last 2 XAES quests. :P But thinking of going over to League, seems like they need help and I like challenges.

It stops at searching download peers and doesn't find any... With Hotspot Shield and without. I have V1.0.05.41 or so... And it does tell me there's a new patch but it won't download it... :soosad:

I don't know, I just like being different. I think I"ll keep working on it. But I wouldn't filter out the possibility of rolling a pali or shaman. But if they do somethign about it I'm gonna keep playing my psi, I like doing crowd control and being an annoying prick. I don't care if I don't get to kill someone, but getting them to rage  and QQ is enough to entertain me :yay:

But man there are so many mages and palis already, like mountains of them...

A survey the EU Allods team posted on their Twitter

This is one of the chances they giving us to let our voice be heard, I recommend people that also is playing on the NA version to do this.

I'll re-dl this game and give it another shot. The skills were pretty bugged and crappy in CBT1.

Cash Shop opened for the EU version today, really nice prices. Seems like EU is less failure than NA. :D

Now they got left to do is remove the damn Fear of Death or do some serious tweaks and this game is a winwinwinwin.

I laughed hard when I saw that the icon for the "Intimidate" taunt skill is simply a hand flipping the bird.
