OMG.. ever since the PS Network came back up. I can't play a single match without heavy lag.. . I always have max lat and even direct connection. Is it laggy for anyone else? For instance if someone is running and My grenade launcher hits their feet they don't die.. They have enough time to get away so sometimes it doesn't even damage them.
lol I hate lag.. even the slightest brings down my game by a ton. It's my kryptonite

Saw a vid on youtube of some guy using a nubetuber class. Thinkin of making one haha they look sweet. ACR with nad launcher, thumper, scavenger pro, hardline, ninja pro ? Idk what to use as the last perk, anyone got any ideas ?

Third perk doesn't matter much for noobtuber class. Weapon with grenade launcher, c4, stun grenade, One Man Army, Danger Close are my preferences for noobtube. Ninja is probably the most useful though, avoids the damned heartbeat sensor people.

I myself am trying a Speeder. MP5/Ranger Marathon/Ligthweight/Commando
It's Works GREAT on Rundown/Underpass/Highrise
Other than that not so much because the MP5 is powerful, but a lot of kick so distance shooting is tougher that some.

And OMG... Why do ppl not understand how to play domination? So many Times I play it the enemy has way more kills than us, but we win... They can one base that's it..

Because alot of people see it as TDM, who cares about the flags if you get a great k/d you still get a good match bonus. (I don't think like this but alot do) I play Domination cuz people are a bit more distracted so easier to kill xP

nope, really don't like CS either (for the same reason as MW2, and the puny looking guns).

I prefer the unrealistic shooters. like Halo or War rock. simple reason: I shoot... I shoot a lot. I have to time to enjoy my shooting rather than kill a person with 3 shots in the LEG. In cod everyone dies within 3 bullets. where's the fun in shooting when that happens D:. you shoot and they're down...and you think 'pfff, was that it...???'.

The game is really good, you have to be in your account, unlocking your own extras and all that stuff by yourself to reach maximum fun.

Oh and Joey, 2500 is nothing, try 1000 headshots, that's the real pain.

yeah yeah, I know! the people I think of as fools laugh at me...
but then...you get exactly the same reaction back from me

to me, 90% of the people who play this game play it cause it's new and shiny rather than cause they actually like it.

now just give me a valid reason for the above question and I can leave the thread in peace . like I said, I'm reasonable. I can take any reason as long as it doesn't come down to being shiny and new.

Name another game like MW2 with several Weapon set ups/Perk set ups or where you can choose your own killstreak rewards. Name another game where you can unlock several attachments for your weapons and 'skins' for them, sure it might not be much but it does add up to this game. The maps are great, way they're designed and all the different ways you can go. Only thing that sucks in this game is the respawn system but I can live with that.

Combat arms? perhaps not as a wide as mw2, but it's in the same direction.
granted though, CA's maps are horrible. I'm not familiar with MW2's maps, though I'm not really a huge fan of CQC (which I assume they are)(but you can forget this part since it's personal).

other option: Medal Of Honor.

btw: 1 thing I'll admit mw2 definitely has as a plus would be the air strike: perhaps a bit cheap, but at least I haven't seen it in any other games.

- You can play it casually.
- It barely ever lags, at least not compared to most other games.
- It is very popular = lots of games = lots of competition.
- It has a good ranking / statistics scheme which keeps you addicted and trying to unlock new -things.
- It has variety (many game modes).
- It has top of the range graphics.
- It is well balanced.
- It can be seen as being realistic without being overly realistic (big plus for many gamers).

Does that answer your question? I cant think of many other things people want from a FPS.


(oh and thats just the online perspective. it was probably also my favourite single player experience from any FPS)

Because its a game you can get good at.
If you shoot weird monsters 5000 times it usualy doesnt need the greatest amount of skills, it has a bit of 'scare' factor in it, and unrealistic.

In MW2, if you want to truely be good at sniping for example, you gotta develope some skill.

I like realistic better then unrealistic aswell ^^ even though Modern Warfafe obiously isnt that close to reality either, respawning- you shoot some1 in the leg and they run on, seeing claymors and C4 etc through walls, with sitrep xD, bullets arrive instantly, no delay, no wind effects etc etc.

Everyone has different preferences right ?^^

It's already 5 months old, and has far more success than way more 'new and shiny' game that have came out in the meantime.

I'm usually the one with the most deaths, but in turn the most kills as well and most points obtained. Campers are less of a nuisance, but still there. Lately my runner class has been getting me tons of kills, but also deaths. So I'm debating on returning to assault rifle and slowing speed some. Might try ACR/Ranger Instead.

True, the headshot challenges will be the true pain the ass. Though 3rd person gameplay is great for headshots for some reason.

Dudes and dudettes, I just played this game and it's horrible. COD4 was so much better.
