i do! im American and my favorite sport is soccer, but i have to say it is boring as hell to watch. I prefer watching premier league than watching mls, but in the world cup i'll be rooting for usa.College Football in my opinion is the most fun, then college basketball, then NFL, Premier league soccer(england),then hockey. The reason i like college sports more is because i have a team to root for(VT). I live near Washington dc and we suck at every professional sport(except hockey) so yea...watching a sport where your team sucks its not very exciting lol..And hockey is meh...if theres a tournament or championship i'll watch, not any regular season game though.

Either way, it was an enjoyable match to watch. Have to admit that in the end I was rooting for America, I felt like they deserved it (to score another point).
America got raped pretty hard in the overtime though, was like 100% offense by Canada.

when they mean by gold medal count, they count most number of gold medals first, then most silver, then most bronze. This method is used by the IOC. And total medal count does mean that your basically saying gold = bronze. If america won 37 bronze medals we would still be ranked as number 1. You think 37 bronze = 37 gold? Theres a world of difference between getting a gold medal and getting a bronze.

The only reason why we are using this total count system is because America has started to lose its #1 rank on the other system because of germany, russia, china getting better at us. Personally, I think America is just trying to fill its big ego and its mentality that it always has to be number 1. That can be either pride or arrogance depending on how you see it.

and grats to canada I don't think they could have seen it go the other way.
