Ok so today I turned n my computer after getting home from school and I noticed that the start up was really really slow so I open up the Task Manager.
I notice that there were like 5 explorer.exe and every second 2 more opened.
I restarted my PC twice because I thought it was probably nothing.
Now the only way I can get in is if I quickly close explorer.exe before the PC completely starts up...
Does anyone know what is causing this and what can fix this??
explorer.exe
explorer.exe

you can try this:
start > run > [type] msconfig > [go to tab] startup > deselect unnecessary explorer.exe's > restart computer.
if it doesn't work you may have a virus...

Re: explorer.exe
It's either windows messing up and opening multiple explorers or..a virus. My bet is just an annoying virus but windows does do silly shit when you least expect it..
Try to start up in safe mode and run a scan, or even restore your pc back a week. If it's a windows mess up the restore will most likely fix. If it's a virus then you'll know by the scan (maybe).

Re: explorer.exe
I restarted and again I had to do samething.
This time I re-ran explorer.exe but before it ran something called iampi.exe ran, I quickly closed it and now it is working fine.
This probably means its a virus right?

Re: explorer.exe
Google your unknown processes.
There's always a threat entry for them, even the safe ones that can become infected.

+1
there should be only 1 explorer.exe so i think u have a virus on ur pc, not a windows mess.
