I could swear I can one hit with the semi-automatic snipers without stopping power, but with the silencer on there's no way to one hit..

It does affect damage, it just doesn't show it. Thats why using silenced sniper on core gametype's is usually stupid unless your using m21 or WA2k. If you have silencer it takes more then 1 hit, even with a headshot and SP, on a sniper. I would rather go with it unsilenced unless you play Hard Core.

Why use a silenced weapon on hardcore...? Silencers are MUCH more useful on core than hardcore.

And why would it not show that it affects damage if it does.

I used the Silenced WA2000 on regular playlists just fine.
It's actually helping me too. I need to get an upper body shot or a headshot in order to kill in one shot. It has the highest Headshots per kill of any other wep I have.

But I hate the fact the silencer reduces damage. It doesn't show it, but when you get the silencer you can no longer 1 hit people by hitting them in the leg etc. Only Upper body and Head shots.

Im getting more and more sick of MW2, mainly coz of IW Net, it simply doesnt work at all.
Half of the time im getting 'unable to connect to host' 'server connection timed out' 'game lobby closed' etc etc, and when i Do get to join a game its often allreaddy over halfway, or even fully played.
Hosts are often incredible laggers, and i keep missing out on my match bonus because of IW net >.>

(played 5 rounds today, all 5 had this problem- usualy its not THIS bad, but i've had enough for today, lolz >.>)

I've got no problems with this game, matchmaking works most of the time.

umm? I have yet to notice the Diff. Snipers DO less at longer distances. Same with almost every weapon. Range does matter and the Silencer reduces range, not damage. I tested this. A Single Burst all the way across Afghan did NOT kill the opponent with a Famas. Then Move closer (about the First Bunker to the Second Airplane part away and one burst killed. It's all about how close you are. Why do you think Snipers always fire more than one in Wasteland? They Either Suck or didn't hit them center Chest or Head.

Thanks maxie I was going to post that chart, but as it clearly shows silencer does reduce dmg. It just doesn't show it on the little chart on the game. But if you don't believe that go in private match and try it, you will see a difference.

Join me into a game with 1 kill left? Join me into a game I just left? Don't switch the host after 3 people drop? These are easy things to program..Host should be able to kick people who only have 1 bar and lag around Farking you over as well..it's bullshit.

Yep, for sure.
The most annoying thing imo is when your near the end of your match, and miss your match bonus again xD

KS Rewards - 7 harrier, 11 chopper gunner, 25 nuke. Or 7 harrier, 9 pavelow, and 11 chopper gunner.

I can normally get like 6 kills with the barret, then once I am done camping, just switch to the ak, and run around pwnin Just wonderin if you reckon it would work.

Just so I can keep switchin in and out of sniping to normal. I reckon it would be hard to get a 25 + kill streak with just a sniper ... Well, I know its hard lmao .. I've done it And I reckon I would use ACR instead of Ak (only coz of no recoil). So you don't reckon it'll work ?

You can't use bling and OMA at the same time xD

And sniper+thermal without SOH is a pain in the ass unless you think about no scoping everyone.

I never really used OMA so I dunno how well that will work, I also don't like the idea of losing my secondary wep. Either way if you take it go CB on the AK/ACR class to be safe from air support. Sniping -> someone calls in what ever (harrier/chopper gunner/AC-130/pavelow) -> use OMA to go stealth with your AK/ACR -> air support gone go back to sniper using OMA again o.O

I only really use stopping power on my sniping classes because IMO assault rifles don't need the extra damage and I like to be safe from air support so I got CB pro on all my other classes.

OMA is win. Being able to switch between Sniper, Assault, or SMG classes is so helpful

Yep I prefer my Scar+Stinger and Mini Uzi+Spas and Intervention+Spas or RPG over one of them with OMA, it's not like I'm a flawless player so I die a decent amount every match so chances enough to switch.

My Highest Killsteak is only 11 lol. But I always get a great Score in the End. Although today I died like 6 times before I killed once...

So I think I'll stick to UAV/CP/Pred.

im starting to dislike the intervention >.>
I keep shooting people in the chest with FMJ and stopping power and people just wont die, which makes the entire idea of using itervention instead of the M21 plain useless.
