It says 'Your gamer profile doesn't meet the requirements to access Xbox Live funcionality.'
I've searched and searched and it seems to have something to do with my age... *sigh*

That's just lame. :/
Guess they have the 18+ restriction on everything for this game.

I need three friends to play with, 90% of people in the pubs are MW2 all-stars that have no idea how to attack or defend an objective.

I think they require levels just like everything else.

Yes PC. Go to the multiplayer drop down menu and press "Redeem Code". Type in the promo code and you get the Tommy Gun and tracer dart unlocked at level 0.

Yea that bugged the crap out of me, I felt so useless as a medic that couldn't even heal.

I love it! I've levelled up my medic now so i can revive and heal.. so while hardly anyone else can revive i'm going around reviving everyone and getting a LOT of points.
Still prefer engineer class though. Maxed out the vehicles level, i spend as much time as possible in the tanks with the long range perk (do they call them perks in bc2?).

Re: Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Starting playing yesterday. Haven't been performing too well. I think I only had one good sniper game. I have to keep falling back to engineer class to keep my KDR a float.

engineer with tracer gun is so cheap xD especially when u have an assault buddy.
i finally got all classes to lvl1 so i can get their specialty equipments. the shotgun is pretty fun but it only holds 4 bullets at a time... whats up with that
add Happynoobing on friend list (if it works) if you are playing on PC, i usually play on the tacticalgamer servers.

Re: Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Just bought it some hours ago, been playing it since, brilliant game.
Turns out the problem was in the demo version, I can play the game with no problems..
At first I was clueless about what was going on but now I'm getting used to it, only problem is the EA connectivity issues, I played for two hours then it crashed and I can't access ea online now -.-
Been playing Engineer, unlocked that first thing you get, and I've also unlocked Recon's first unlockable, the little ball, it can be useful.

Re: Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Finally got the M95. It blows balls.
Doesn't do more damage than the other rifles but takes about 4 times as long to reload a bullet into the chamber.
I think my favorite sniper rifle is the second semi autotmatic or the fully automatic one. I like to put red dot scope on them and assault.

My sniper aim went to shit after the beta ended, I used CS:S to fill my game time and I never get the bullet drop right anymore.

Re: Battlefield: Bad Company 2
I think they kind of rushed the game... There are alot of mini-flaws that can get annoying...
For example, you can only leave a game while you're actually playing, when you're waiting for the next map the make you stay until the game starts.

Tweak guide I found really useful, especially fov (also talks about PB kicks, connection, and extremely brightness, etc.)

It's not you. It's DICE and their lies. The game is still a console port despite claiming it wouldn't be.
Many others have the same complaint as you. For whatever reason, DICE released the game with buggy hit box. Hopefully they will fix this for you soon.
I'm assuming you got the PC version.
Also there is an interesting video for PC users where scenes are shown side by side with PS3. PS3 version looks better than PC. Lame...
