I just started playing this game, and i wanted to know:

how do I upgrade equipments?

I'm currently using spear at lv 13 with protector but I seem to take in more damage than others who are even below my lv? or is that just a misunderstanding?

I want to be what they call spear hybrid, but is it good to start off as spear? cuz i seem to lv slowly..or is it just me xD

and how do i use macro, for example to repeat a sentence I typed in the game?

where is the friend list, and how do I add people to parties/friend list?

There are two ways to upgrade your equipment. You can actually upgrade your item's basic stats with elixirs - I mean phy.atk. mag.atk. etc. You can also add new attributes to your items, that will be written as a blue text. This requires a tablet and elements to create it. Both of them have a chance to fail.

It's really up to you what weapon you'd like to use. I don't know much about hybrid character builds but protector seems to be just fine.

Press "u" and your community window will pop up, there is your friendlist. There is already a guide in the "Guides and Tutorials" section about creating a party, differences between parties etc. But it's not that hard to figure it out by yourself. Press "p" and your party window will appear.

As I said you should check the "Guides and Tutorials" section. There are some nice hybrid builds.

thanks for your advice...which monsters can I find elixirs? or are they already explained in guides...

any monster can drop elixirs but they are rare. you may find 1 every 300-400 kills. you can buy them but they are expensive for a lvl 13.

Maybe you are putting points into int or your armor/accessories are lower.

Spear is fine, this game excels at making it difficult to level. Once you get your nukes at level thirty, you'll be one hitting monsters... it's still slow though.

You can't, unless you use a third party program -> might cause you to get banned if they detect it. Why would you want to spam a sentence -_- that's super annoying.

Press U and click the tab labelled "Friend". Either select the person and click add in the friends tab or just type their name in. I think typing /add [friendsname] into the chat window works too.

Elixers drop randomly. They have a pulsating golden glow.

a nuker is a chinese INT based char, that hits mostly by nukes (fire, cold, lightning skills), although he can also hit with "normal" skills, from either spear or sword/shield (or even bow).

Cap means the maximum level you can get.

the current cap is 110 and it may be updated this summer or next summer to 120 .
and one more thing elixirs only drop when killing mobs lv 16 or higher .
