SRO Malfunctioning: Corrupted or Hackers

Friday 12th I tried to perfom a quest at the beach (Killing Sirens).
A over thirty people had a grinding party. I had a hard job finding some mob to grind, often those players? were first at the spot. They were running in dedicated patterns and some acting complete synchronic, this are not human players. So the SRO system is corrupted or some people hacked it. This afternone, so more then 24 hours later, this party was still going on. The guys collected millions. Don't understand how a hacker can achieve this, if only three concurrent builds are allowed. Even if you have more, the skill points will be distributed to all these differend builds. What's the goal, only collecting money? Whatever, this madness must be stopped.

yes those are bots. there are thousands of them in all of the servers and make up more than 70% of all in game players. they are not people. sro has had this problem for over 5 years and very little has been done to fix it. you will find that as you lvl it will become very hard to grind, especially when you get to lvl42-60. there are lots of different types of bots but the majority of what you will see are goldbots.

Allright pals, I see.
I think bots are a very complex way to upgrade one parameter: your amount of gold. I suppose this parameter is not at your own computer, else people managed to change it anyway, so it is well kept and protected at the server. Seems to me a piece of cake to figure out by SRO if an amount of gold is increased in 24 hours in a manner that's not human (possible) & wipe out that account. Can't get the hang of the complexity to do so.

bots are used to gain gold and to raide your lvl quickly. as you will find out as you get into higher lvls it will become very hard to lvl. as for catching the bots, they are extremely easy to spot and it would be nothing for joymax to ban. but they keep the servers full so people will buy premium

Yea, but it's been a month and the servers are still populated so i'm not complaining. Maybe it's because of the clientless not working that I heard some union mates talking about.

if you think insulting new players makes youe e-penis bigger, your wrong. he simply didnt know what a bot was, so he came here and asked. nothing wrong with that. we were all at this point one time or another.
