Yes its true some do get awarded for their work, but why do artists get such a big deal? If its only to fuss and complain about such and such that either got too many or didnt get any award?
Imo this is stupid... I don't mean to remove the rights for an artist to get reawrded, but why the heck does he need to be on television? They are already all over the news not just on tv but even in magazines and newspapers dam, don't need more than what they already have...

Yes you should never be rewarded for excellence in your field of profession. That is just a waste of time and money.

I'll take for example my dad, been working as a pilot for what 25+ some what years? no one has given him a trophy

thats the game not the programmers, and yes programmers do get certain awards and acknolagement for what they do, pilots get a badge after a certain amount of time flying, doctors stats are important those who do good stand out as good doctors not so much an award but very self fulfilling, lawyers get **** loads of money, teachers no idea what they get professors can get tenya or sumit like that but stil no idea what that is
