There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Doing good in HS is your easiest/best route.
fu-- you serious X_X
First 2 years I've been doing alright, I guess I'mma have to start listening in class, don't wanna end up with a blue collar job.
What is FAFSA? And what states do they apply to?
Edit: Oh Financial aid, about how much do they give to help you out?

Whats wrong with blue collar? considering everyones trying to get a "white collared" job the blue collar ones are in more demand and wages are going up, aka trades, like from tech school. not blue collar mcdonalds drive thru order taker.

If you lived in the 60s and 70s your logic would have worked. Blue collared jobs in the 21st century are not "in demand". Thats why they are blue collar for a reason, because almost anyone can do it.
And most trade schools or tech schools (most especially the ones you see on TV ads and website ads) are just trying to make money off you. They won't get you anywhere. Again, a person's best bet for financial stability is a bachelors degree in a GOOD major. Not english, psychology, or asian studies. Those don't count.

Believe me, contrary to what you think, jobs that come with bachelor degrees are not restricted to cubicle work, if you'd be smart enough to realize that there is work to be done outside the office.

sure theres work to be done outside the office. But here in canada most.. alot of Skilled trades require grade 12 math some even science. So they aren't usually drop outs who are in the trades. May be different wherever your from but you don't go far dropping out of highschool these days. The drops out you see are the ones working at gas stations and doing jo-jobs. Not careers in the trades though.

If that. I have a high school Diploma with 58 college credits, and it's still hard to obtain a job even at a gas station. People are demanding so much nowadays.
