Your the kind of kid I see that doesn't have problems at all. When someone you see DOES have problems, you have to make fun of them.
Screw you, I never liked you.

thats the problem with our education system, teachers dont tell students why they have to learn math, english, etc.
Let me tell you why: you study not because its supposed to help you learn "life skills" but just make you a smarter person. Nobody takes a TI-84 calculator to work but doing math makes you a more analytical person, for example. Memorizing formulas or facts, or solving problems, writing essays, they pretty much don't have anything to do with those so called "life skills". What they do is make you a smarter and intelligent person.
If your looking for "life skills", thats what college is for. Consider high school as a mental primer and a place where you develop study habits and become more mature and smarter. And then consider college the place where you develop professional skills that you will rely on to put a roof over your head and get something to eat.
Think of what I just wrote and maybe you'll look at school in a different light and be more motivated to try..

this is a topic in which you state you can do better for
school but don't feel like doing anything, but when one
of our members litteraly tells you that you get offended?
i don't see the point of this topic besides you telling
us that you can't be bothered to do your best for your
education, meaning you have an attitude problem that will
haunt you the rest of your life if you are not willing to
change that, and that's the end of the story.
or did i misunderstand?
oh, and fyi, i'm doing a master in industrial design
(design for interaction to be specific) and i get courses
like electronics, mechanics, psychology, etc. not because
i will make electronics myself, calculate every piece of
metal i design myself, or do every bit of consumer research
myself, but to make me able to have an idea of what is and
what's not possible. idk i'm used to be around people that
like to put effort into what they do.

Just make sure you get the passing grade in every class (which is not really hard honestly).
And when u get to college/university thats when u need to get serious.Nick Invaders wrote:Dude, go for high grades in school.
As i said, high school's grades are not that important, unless you're planning
to go to some place that NEEDS good grades to get in (Lawyer, medicine, etc)
In the case where the guy wants to be a carpenter or a mechanic or any hands on jod that requires no university/college.....grades are useless(well you have to pass at least, but passing is a joke)
