I saw it yesterday and i was pretty damn exited about it, im big fan of Mel Gibson and for him act again is Awesome!!

Btw Mel Gibson knows how to Kick ass

It may be great enough to be top contender, but since it was released so early on, people will probably forget about it come end of the year and a film released in the last quarter will get film of the year. imo.

Braveheart and The Patriot are among my favorite movies. I think Apocalypto was directed by him as well. Mel Gibson has done some great stuff, I'd like him to stick around.

This new movie looks entertaining, kinda like 'Taken'. Bad boy father, daughter problems, he goes kicks ass etc
But maybe it will be a bit more original, even if not; Taken was quite a fun watch.
