I really can't take sides on this one since they're both guilty of committing crimes; however, I'm not going to say that you can't blame them for their actions because regardless of how the situation started, they should still be held accountable for their actions now. Basically, for this situation, to take sides is to be biased. But yes, I do agree with most people here that Israel got away with too many things they should've been called out on. But because most people with no Palestinian/Islamic connections view the violence caused by Palestine as "terrorism" and the ones by Israel as "justice," we really can't do much but just sit and watch them destroy one another. I understand that it must have been frustrating and unjust for the Palestinians to be kicked out of their own land to pay for the fuck-ups of the Western world but that was back then. No one ever stopped to think that they're fighting their grandfathers' wars - not theirs. I find it ridiculous how people take credit for the suffering of their predecessors.

I have to agree, but both are at fault; I just see that the people of Palestine have at least some sort of justification for their government radical views. Israel is just power hungry. I see what you're saying, but actually, if you put it like this, it would make it impossible to not side with Israel. It's not a matter of not thinking of consequences, it's the rational (im)maturity of the governments, civilians, and radical groups in the Middle East. It shows how radicals should not be able to control governments, and interference from more developed countries must be present, and these juvenile conflicts must stop. However, looking at the roots, the problems simply started from immediate attack from Palestinians and others.
