Gap larger than 9

Is there any real disadvantage to having a gap larger than 9 besides maximizing your skills for the amount of SP you get...


for example, if i have a 12 gap and I'm killing a mob at my lvl would I get teh same SP/EXP if I have a 9 gap at the same level? Right now I don't have the stuff to farm at bandit den, but I'm lvl 18 and would like to move to higher mobs, just want to make sure I'm not getting LESS sp than I would with a gap of 9.

Exp/sp gain is the same for every gap higher or the same as 9, give that it's on the same mob ofcourse.

9 Gap and 9 gap + Wont DIFFER at ALL ...
But for me i prefer keeping it 9 GAP max. cuz when i lvl my masteries with a 10+ GAP i feel frightened that i am throwing my SP.... !! LOL

That's probably because you lvld up and your lvl is closer to the mob you're getting plvl at.
