Gms are now active! Banning goldbots

Silkroad Online GMs will be active from now on. This is not just another run at publicity. There is an actual GM team constructed.

This is stright from a GM on facebook.. You know right now the servers should be flooded with gold bots and servers should be full.. but all servers are populated... So gms are gonna be on every server for now on taking care of business..

To celebrate the launch of new Game Masters, we have prepared 'Finding GM' Event.

We will give prizes to 10 users who took the best screenshots and submit to Weekly Best Screenshot. First place will be selected as Weekly Best Screenshot for the 2nd week of January.

Following are the detailed information about the event.

[Event Period]
- December 29, 2009 ~ January 7, 2010 Silkroad Standard Time(10days)

[Event Procedures]
1. GMs will give clues about his/her location in-game.
2. Using wonderful premium vehicle pets, go find the GM.
3. When you find the GM, exchange greetings and ask the GM if you can take a screenshot.
4. While using wonderful premium vehicle pet and avatar items, press Print Screen button to take a screenshot with the GM, the screenshot will be saved in Silkroad folder in your pc.
5. Submit the screenshot at Weekly Best Screenshot in Silkroad Online Official website.

[Event Prize]
We will select the top 10 best screenshots and the winners will receive the following prizes:

* 1st Prize : Seal of Sun weapon

* 7 winners will receive 20,000 skill points

**Notice**
* The list of Winners will be posted on Silkroad Online website and will be featured in Weekly Best Screenshot on the 2nd week of January.
* Weapon prize is account bound and will depend on the current weapon and level of the character.
* If you don't have weapon equipped in your character, random weapon will be given.
* Duplicate entries, edited screenshots will be nullified.

The screen you give us is about the event and has little to do with a gm banning bots, he'd better be out in the field for that.
Also, i didn't say a SINGLE thing about the fact that they're actually trying something, i just said the screen you gave us was about the event.

And for a find-the-gm-event you'll need some, it's hard to find things which don't exist.

They've been saying this for 2 years, if not more.
They've tried a few times, succeeded for a few weeks.

i been playing since beta.. and this is first time joymax has ever hired that many gms.. I think they mean business if you ask me.

Basicly JM is trying to get a lot of Money with this, they never run out of ideas, or if they do they'll recycle the old ideas. I mean One Item Mall veichle costs one silk, think if 2000 people in every server would buy one, thats big number.

Pfttha, what's been stopping them for the last.. well since it came out? Then cvould of patrolled it if they want, this is just a ploy to get players back. I'm sure once they start getting the numbers of official players (because they can obviously distinguish the bot's from real players)they'll just let the bot's crowd up the servers in order for the already "hooked" customers to purchase tickets.

If you're thinking of going back; I'd wait a little while and you might just see what I've stated above occuring.
