Because it's more challenging ?

I might be a crazy fangirl and i know the game is not perfect, heck i even had a hard time playing easy. You just need to learn to play ! Now i'm actually on the "this game is easy" side. (considering to download the nightmare++ hack)
Yeah Mages are OP in the game, they are OP in the lore thats how they are... Why the hell would they lock them inside a tower ? They can easily destroy the whole kingdom if they wanted.
Play a mage if it's such an issue. (And they did nerf them in 1.2 patch)
Still rogues are the most powerful ones.
I'm willing to help (since i am such a sweetheart) but if you don't want you can ignore me =|

Well people i started a "2h warrior solo nightmare" game. So far it goes well i finished up the DLC's and now im half way thought the mage tower. It is a lot harder than soloing it with a rogue or mage, but i only really need to pot a lot when i do some harder bosses (Desire demon b....)
Oh and this dude was my inspiration to start.

EDIT: Wrong video, this is the one

But still i plan to do what that girl did in the first video (Templar/Champion), but a slightly different build.

Perhaps..I just find it stupid haha ^^ But what ever you want to do, I personally got enough of it after doing The Joining for the 4th time.
_Lana_ wrote:Actually yeah you did sound like a drama queen coming in and posting "This is sooo unfair i have to fight a pack of wolfs *picture* and i have to play the game using stealth *picture* and the Revenant are so op *picture*..."
Yeah you just need to learn to play and not use 2 archers in that party.
It can work... if you use proper builds for all pt members (re-spec mod) :o
Yeah BioWere made a some big mistakes. Especially with default party character attributes. Why would you use Leliana without a hotfix and decent archer build ?
I mean full str dog will last more and do more damage than her in that state.
Oh and you never attack the wolf pack in Lothering from the left side.... <__<
Anyways yeah you should play a 3 mage + shale party.
Shale is that awesome that you don't even need to ff her while your mages cast 3 infernos over a pack of mob that shale taunts.
Now mages need more nerfs since they are still strong, but i still think that rogue's combat stealth is the most op thing in the game.
EDIT: Oh and about character creator... All i can say is "use mods"

_Lana_ wrote:- Shale is a woman.
- Shale > Alister (until he fade wall/starfang/wades heavy armor)
- If you attack the wolves near the corpse first the ones left wont attack you.
- NPC mages are strong, but you can one hit it with Zev on normal i think... a backstab would do it.
- I never told you that you must play with 3 mages, but thats the cheapest way possible. It's just sitting and watching the fireworks.
- Re-spec mod http://social.bioware.com/project/469/
- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/
- I don't get it myself, it's a common issue... Half of the people can't progress even on easy while some people complain that is way easy. I guess you just have to keep trying, read the forums, get information and keep trying > ? I really don't get... try putting it on easy ?

Dual-Weapon Mastery
Passive
Requires: Level 12
Requires: 36 Dexterity
Requires: Master Combat Training
Only a chosen few truly master the complicated art of fighting with two weapons, but the character is now among that elite company, able to wield full-sized weapons in both hands. Stamina costs for all dual-weapon talents are also reduced.
