Thief penalty

iv been doing a lot of thieving recently and have been getting really lucky these past few days. i was able to go from a 7% lvl 2 thief to a lvl 3 thief. i remember back before euro there was a penalty for gaining too much thief exp too fast. is that still around?

Nope they removed that cuz of the aliases.
