the score seems impressive because of the high number of kills, however the KD ratio is only just over 2 so that makes it a rather poor game... I classify a good game something like 30+/6 or something with a KD ratio of a 4+

Good luck getting 6 deaths in a hq match. And 78/34 is much harder then, for example, 39/17 even though the K/d ratio is the same. And I'd like to see some of your screens if you call this a 'rather poor game'.

I find HQ probably the easiest mode to get a good KDR with. Just need to know where to go, and you'll have all the retards rushing to the HQ right infront of you.

If I honestly need a K/D boost, I either play one of two gamemodes. Hardcore SnD is easy for me. I can usually outthink people and flank. However, if I wanna just keep the gameplay flowing, I play sabotage. You either play one of two types of teams: campers or mindless runners. Both are easy kills. It seems that most people use ninja pro in SnD, so you get a lot more steady aim, commando, etc. people in sabotage.

But since I feel o so proud of my accomplishment yesterday in SnD, I thought I would share. I was playing on Karachi, and we were 3 against 1. I was on that really tall sniper perch near A, and I see a guy climbing the later beneath me to a rooftop lower than I am. I have my .44 magnum with the tactical knife, so I start running in his direction. While falling off the roof, I pull off a knife into his back while I continue to fall. That maybe have been one of my best game winning kills in awhile.

I have never understood the "does it affect your gameplay" argument. If we based our laws on that premise then majority of the things would be virtually legal. They cheated. They should be punished.

Nice one. I'm still trying to pull off one of those kills you see alot on youtube sniper montages, where a guy sees someone below him, he jumbs, 180º, kills the guy, lands on the floor at 360º. Even better if they die. The most close to that I've accomplished was jumping off a corner and while I'm at the peak of the jump I kill this guy who was coming with a no-scope headshot.

Oh and I finally got my droppin' crates kill. It was really funny imo, I was playing Domination on the Favela Map, and I get a 4 Killstreak so I decide to throw the signal smoke nade near the flag (idk if it was A, B, or C, but it was in the one that's higher in the map, on one of the main spawns, which are the ones behind the buildings and the one on a flat ground with all the map below you), then I die and think: "Oh shiat someone is going to take my crate!" then I get the +50 on the screen and look to the kill record to see that some poor guy had run right under my crate right as it was falling. I laughed.

hahaha crate kills are funny...when they happen to other people of course lol. Was playing TDM and as i was waiting for my crate to come, one of my team members spawned directly under it lol. He would have been so confused haha

I dont play on the game types that enable me to get massive kills, I only play on either TDM and occasionaly groundwar. So it is more about KDR than the amount of kills simply because a high number of kills doesnt mean anything if they are not spread evenly over a small amount of deaths.

Here are some SS from the past 3 days of my better scores which arent that good cause I prestieged cause I got bored on monday so I am in the process of gearing up my weapons again and getting my perks.

no i dont camp lol, I mix rush and semi defensive play depending on the map and how well I am playing at the time lol.
But most of the time I play a rather agressive game but I dont need to camp as I dont use the high number kill streaks I generaly only use upto 7 or occasionaly I use the pavlow, so there is no need for me to camp inorder to get them.

I got a 10+ k/d today, I didn't know there was a accolade for it, finally prestiged and beasting with Barrect .50 cal w/ thermal. I would've got my first nuke today (got a new 25 kill streak) but I didn't have it on!!

I'm pretty happy with my 40/0/2 game I played once.

And IMO running around strategy is overrated. If you wan't big killstreaks defencive gameplay is only way to go.

Campers dont actually generally get good scores. All that happens is they get a kill or two, then one of the victims watches killcam and comes straight back for them.

As dumbo says, defensive is generally the best for kdr. Lay back, wait for them to come to you. Get a kill or two. Move to a new position. Repeat.

Oh and dont forget you need to keep pushing forwards if your team is. Otherwise you'll end up being right in the middle of where the enemy spawns and wont stand a chance. You wont get quick kills at first, but as soon as the killstreaks start coming in you'll jump right to the top of the leaderboard.


Rambo style can work for KDR, but only on certain maps and only against certain styles of players. (ones who are very predictable) Just run the long way round and flank em all.

Meh sometimes defensive gets mixed in with camping and it's generally the same at some points..

I play rush/offensive/sneaky or whatever you want to call it. I just run in and kill everybody =\ On lazy days I'll run with sniper/marathon for the lols

I did some nice kickass with the silenced UMP45 on Quarry playing Ground War TDM, it's really easy when you understand where they are and where they are coming from, I went something like 35-3. I wasted way too many killstreak unlocks at the lower rewards so I only got my AC130 at level 45... Next unlock will go to the nuke, I really want the 10 nukes emblem, it's so badass.

i got it for the pc for xmas, it is ok i think the knifing is wayyy over powered it is so easy to just run around and knife people kinda ruins the game imo. other then that i have no real complaints, the title and such things are a nice add as well.

Mwoah, maybe in close quarters but on a bit more open lvl's they'll shoot you before you can stab em lol ^^
