Only people with legit client, clientless bots go clientless and they continue botting/stalling normally.

Also, you get dc if you are in the same party as someone with snow mask on and they drop something.

Also when white knight spawn many people get DCed from it too.
There is a DC tut on rev6 main page already.
I guess you guy can start making a pk2 edit to prevent being DC as pk2 edit isn't illegal on this site.

Something related to get a mask with the new event monster, drop a potion and pick it up and everyone around you + yourself get a client crash due to the new event monster animation for picking up item being badly done in the pk2 and making the client crash because the picking item animation isn't done.

So it recommanded to switch the new event monster animation and skin to another monster type preventing you from getting a client crash.

Import it to your PK2 with PK2 Tools. This switch the snowman skin for the mangyang skin. Should works until Joymax fix it for everyone.

The weird thing in this is that I haven't dcd a single time, not even in ctf. Only time I had to dc myself was when I stucked to middle of Hotan after buying item from stall network.

As explained in the past 24 hours, Joymax has a bug inside their data.pk2 file.

The following file is missing in data.pk2:
prim\ani\mob\common\event_winter_snowman\event_winter_snowman_pickup.ban

This error mean that if someone create a mask from the Snow Slave event monster, as soon as he with the mask try to pickup an item from the ground, it will trigger the animation file event_winter_snowman_pickup.ban which doesn't exist and your silkroad client will crash.

We have applied a temporary patch until Joymax decide to add this missing file. You can download an alterated media.pk2 from one of the following links:

This alternate media.pk2 will show the Snow Slave as a Mangyang monster. The only purpose of this, is for sro_client.exe to not crash when it will execute the pickup item animation since the pickup animation for Mangyang exist in the data.pk2

Please keep your old media.pk2 and revert to the old version when Joymax will release a fix to this bug. If there is any urgent event such as a Fortress war, you might want to consider to request your entire guild to use the alternated media.pk2 file to prevent people to over use this exploit.

JM won't do an emergency inspection to fix it because that would mean accepting the fact they fkc up....i'll get fix next inspection but of course they won't tell players about the bug, if you ask about the the bug via support they'll tell u go buy a new video card/update drivers.
