<3 ryoko.

here's the deal. we, the admin/mod team, do the best we can with what we have. it's up the the community to do the rest. if you have someone who you think would be a good mod, PM their name to me and i will get in touch with them. but i for one, like ryoko, nightbloom, and almost everyone else on this forum (including, i would venture to guess, his antagonists) amd TIRED of the HuyFong topic. do i think it shouldn't be a concern to those involved? no. do i wanna read about it in every thread that goes longer than 2 pages? DEFINITELY no. drop it, for the love of god. NOT because i believe anyone over anyone else, but because the mod staff has asked you to (albeit a bit drunkenly in ryoko's case).

remember that part about respecting the moderators? that also includes the request i just made. as long as this issue remains open, it's going to pervade every corner of this board, and i don't think ANYONE wants that. the people who believe Huy don't want it because they believe what they believe and are sick of the other side trying to make them change, and the people who don't believe him don't want it because they're sick of putting forth all their evidence, points, and logic only to have it fall upon the deaf ears of the other side. the people who, like me, couldn't give a flying frog about it don't want it because it puts me in a shitty mood every time i come on here. so please, for the good of all involved and the health of the forums, find another way to express your differences on this issue.

For me, this entire thread is a dead one. I made my point, those that agree have read it and chimed in, those that dont have also. We know who is on what side of the fence on the issue of negativity and sensless flaming in random topics. The moderators and Admin have asked that Huy topic be shot, buried, mourned and gotten over. I really dont think this thread is going to be of much further use judging by the fact that is has gone completely circular and degenerated into silly name calling.

It's kinda sad to me that the issue of being nice to ppl can polarize a group of ppl into for and against.

On a lighter note I think it'd be funny if Ryoko got drunk enough to log on and start saying silly drunk babble. The forum could use a little humor lol.

My responses to your points aren't going to go away because you magically declare the thread dead. I apologize for further keeping the HuyFong thing going but mostly because you didn't let it lie with Doru and felt the need to respond.

Why dont you save me the trouble and just tell me what points you would like a more elaborate response to. Ill oblige you.

For me it is dead because you find it OK to flame ppl because someone doesnt like what they consider to be senseless topics. We disagree. You think the forum should be more heavily moderated, but not against random negativity. We disagree. You want some kind of concession re: Huy. We disagree.

Is there anything you would like to add to this?

If you even bothered to read what I wrote, you wouldn't be asking questions like this but rather be responding to my viewpoint.

I feel like you've already made up your mind as to what my stance is (the stance you view me as having, not the stance I actually take), and you're not even trying to think about what I wrote.

One of my points was that a bit more moderation would, combined with a bit more leniance from posters like chaud (since we wouldn't feel obligated to help keep the forum from turning into an off-topic shithole), result in less negativity since there would be less to be negative about.

If you didn't simply revert to your own idea of what my posts are rather than listening and carrying on a constructive conversation with me when I elucidate my argument. In short, use your brain (I know you have one worth using).

Yes i know where i have gone wrong. I think it is because i posted "Why is it like this?" and then all the people flame one another.

Wow man...it is really unpredictable. I am just wondering why vietnamese people are banned from ISRO and the only real reason i can think o is they want to stop CCF (so many people say that). Then new questions again...why? Why vietnam and not other countries huh? Then goes the thread blah blah blah....

Seriously i tried to post responsibly by not posting anything offending. That thread is supposed to be healthy discussion. BUT...flame starts. Who the heck started it, i don't know. Maybe it's me because i started the thread and left the others to discuss

Seriously if this is my mistake, i think i better stop posting new topic in case that it starts to flame war and i got blamed for it. If there are any other mistakes, please point it out because i know

1. I never brag killing unique.
2. I never show my items (NPC items what's there to show?)
3. As far as i can remember i never flame unless the person is advertising bots ,etc
4. I never flame people killing uniques. (I think so...)

The only time i flame is when people get too cocky and say hybrid-->best.
Then when someone came with a justified answer i kept quiet again....

Posting pictures are very rare. I think i posted less than 10 pics of those pics that showed own or pwn since i joined.

So...did i point my mistake correctly?

If you look at the forum, you can plainly see that threads that are posted on stay at the top. When the community is done with a topic, it fades away. Quickly too if only one person posts on it. The more you flame it, the longer it's there. You flame it, I flame you for flaming it, everyone jumps in to place their two cents. That is just stupid. Let the mods and the community decide what threads are worthwhile.

Im really sorry for adding you to that list. I didnt understand that you seem to be unaware of the reason they are banning VNs. It is not to stop CCFing. It is because they are making them their own version of SRO in their own country. Just like we arent supposed to play KSRO or TSRO, etc. It is not because they think VNs are bad in some way. They just want them to play VNSRO instead if ISRO.
