Please forgive me for totally skipping over most posts in this thread but I know a lot of people will skip my post before I even write it.

About that reputation system thing, the only bad thing I really see about that is that if you remember not too long ago in the 1* popping thread, you guys would almost definatly have banned SuicideGrl with all the points you'd have thrown at him in momentary anger, and I definatly don't think that's something we'd have wanted now in retrospect. Just the little events such as that which would spring up invariably from time to time.

Yeah I sorta figured that's how it went, but just there was such a MASSIVE division there and he took the brunt of the proverbial blade. Most of the forum was looking in on that topic, even people who don't normally post here, and it just seems like that might be enough to overflow the system or something. It would just be extremely hard to tweak correctly because you'd have to give enough leverage so that you can't get thrown in one massive push... but at the same time some people do need to go in one massive push, and if you give too much slack to avoid situation A, it can make it much harder to get rid of the petty a-holes who just have to add a dash of negativity to lots of minor topics.

Also, if someone were mad enough, could they make multiple accounts to throw more -- reps your way?
