Only supposed to get 10mbits down, upload is what it should be. I don't download anywhere near 2mbp/s though, so I'm a little confused.
Speed test shows you connection in "Mb" which are Megabits. When you download something, either by torrent or rapidshare or what, the download speed is shown in "MB" which are Megabites. 1 megabite is 8 megabits. So in reality your getting 16 Megabits.
Thanks to Nelson12 from www.gamesforum.com for this awesome sig _______ "It's only cheating if you get caught"

Uh yes I know that..
That's why I said I don't download anywhere near 2mbp/s (20Mbp/s is like 2.4) and that's why I'm a little confused. I normally get 1.3~ mbp/s, but even when I try on a server that can put out more I don't get more.
bells $20Gb cap $40 dollars a month mega sh!t plan at my service! its a proven fact that Canada has the worst internet for any developed country. THANK GOD FOR MONOPOLY'S!
Rogers isn't that bad. 47$~ for 60gb and 10Mbits (giving me 20 for some reason). Good if you have rogers cable or phone service for discounts.
i would love to have any other isp then bell, but because of my remote location i am very limited in who i can get out here. i could get teksavvy which i heard was great but since bell owns all the lines out here they tell teksavvy that i can only get like 56k out here which is farking bs.
Silkroad: Probably lost all of my accounts already, but used to be something between: Grounded, Murphy, Peach... In many, many pservers... League of Legends *LAN - Groundy - lvl 30

i don't see how bell can provide you that speed but teksavvy can't, maybe its because teksavvy leases the lines they have a contract stating that in areas like yours they aren't allowed to provide more.

imo i think it's that bell just doesn't want to lose us so they tell teksavvy that the lines out here are sh!t then forcing us to come crawling back to them >.<

yeah, I heard there might be another isp moving into canada sometime next year or 2011. I'm not sure though but rogers and bell have a nice little duopoly going on. So i hope thats true.
