i cast Heroic defence onto Alistair than run him into combat by using the H key, so the party hangs back out of sight while Alistair runs in and soaks up all the agro,
When all agro is on Alistair i cast Earthquake, Morigan (0l3n's Lover ) casts Force field onto him than i unleash Inferno followed up with fireball


i get Leliana to hang back with me and morrigan to tank any targets that may get thru all that devastion, morrigan casts all her stun's and mind controlls while my main char uses all his Dps spells and thats pretty much it xD


by time earthquake - inferno - Forcefield has worn off If there not all dead, than Alistair re-joins the party and helps clean up whatever is left..

so im having a awsome day since learning Force field on morrigan, and god here i was thinking of ditching her lul

A question about Alistair, ive been pumping his Str so he can wear the Dragon armor, i think it requires 38 str, What id like to know is should i bother giving him constitution? If so what amounts of Con would be a good amount to aim for? Or do i just focus on Str and forget about con?

I would take the first and last. So strength and bleh, forgot the name. The first one increases damage (and is needed to wear the armors ofc) and the last one increases hp which is handy if you want him to tank.

I use the ice skills alot, freezing them and letting them get a crit from Allister/Leliana and they'll shatter ^^

Well i think i have it only on 20, but yeah get around 42 str asp, 16 cunning, get dex over 20 and the last last few lvs you can add him some con before the final battle.
But if you play on hard or nightmare i think you need more con.

Yeah maybe ill try that after i finish this round, in some games when you play EPIC levels of the game like in nightmare modes special items will drop for you, has DOA implemented anything like that?

And thanks for the stat suggestions, Dexterity is a great idea also, ill take it all into consideration thanks
20 con sounds ok, i think Alistair has around 15 con atm,
Whats the max HP you guys had on your tank?

Yeah I gave Allister only Strength and Constitution lolz...Didn't need more Dex/Cunning than what he had ^^ I even gave my mage Constitution so she wouldn't die in 1/2 hits lol.

Putting DAO on hold now though, should be getting ACII in the mail today

Nightmare is more annoying, but not impossible. I hear someone soloed nightmare with a rogue. Damn must have used a ton of traps and pots.

And i'm not stopping until i finish this game with all achievement and 6 maxed out characters. 160-180 hours minimum, so i should be done before the new DLC hopefully.

Maybe all wizards if you don't mind letting one person just run around and kite at times.

Wizards are very overpowered.

Try the ruins in that elf forest.

I used a mage (me), Allister, my wardog and Zevran through the game. Later I replaced zevran with Leliana and in the end I replaced my wardog with Morrigan.

Well i finished the game with a Tank warrior, but i rushed with him so i only got him to 18 =\
Oh well i plan to make a 2h one so i can get the lv 20 warrior achievement "Master of arms" with him/her.
But now im focusing on making my Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage.

Just wanna say the hotfix+dual wield berserker warrior is f*ckin unstoppable lol.

I can wipe most stuff on Hard difficulty, pulling like 40dmg per hit at level 10.

The hotfix is patch 1.01b. It increases your base attack rating so normal difficulty isn't tough as nails.

^ mod that allows you to respec any of the chars you currently have in party/ party menu etc, started looking for such a mod when i realized how useless Morrigan's shape shifting was.
