Is it Possible to Install CSRO and iSRO on the Same Computer

I want to play CSRO but I also like to log on from time to time to say hi to my friends on iSro. Is it possible to have both on the same computer?

whatever version you have installed, just go to c:/programfiles/silkroad and copy that whole silkroad folder to your desktop. then rename it to iSRO or cSRO whichever version it is...then uninstall the current version and then install whichever is the opposite from the folder on your desktop. The shortcut to SRO on your desktop will be for the one that was recently installed. to start the one on your desktop, just go into that silkroad folder and click the sro launcher.

It's not possible to run both clients at the same time.

yea you can...you just need to create more user accounts with passwords on windows xp and open iSRO and then go to cSRO and right click icon and "run as" (type other user and password)


Or start iSRO, go back to desktop and click start -> log off -> switch user and log onto the new user account and start cSRO. This works well with cSRO. Not sure about iSRO.

You dont need multiple accounts for that.. Just press run as and pres OK. I don't know if this is legit or not.. But it's better then use a loader lol.

IMPORTANT:
The easiest way to install every sro version you want on your computer at the same time is to just rename their folders.
After you installed iSRO, rename the C:\Program Files\Silkroad Folder to iSRO. Then install the next version, for example chinese silkroad. Rename the new Silkroad Folder to cSRO. And so on.
Works perfectly, at the moment I have iSRO, cSRO, kSRO and russianSRO installed on the same computer without any problems (except that you can't run them all at the same time )

That works too! You can run em at the same time with winXP without any programs.
