Game Introduction:
Allods Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, set in the fantasy space opera universe of Sarnaut.
It is the fourth opus of the Rage of Mages series which started in the mid-90s, conquering the minds of millions of gamers around the world, and covers over 12 years of storyline in the making.
You can choose to enter the deep storyline, puzzling out relationships between the two factions at war, races and characters, and plumbing the depths of the mysteries at work in this unique setting. Or you can focus on developing your character, maximising his abilities, crafting, getting very rare items and enchanting them via the runes system to become the best in both duels and space Astral battle ship battles.
Throughout the game, you will discover and fight your way in dungeons, castles and temples as a raid or as a group.
At high level, you can build your own Astral space ship and take off to explore the Astral with your party, looking for adventures, raids or if you want, become a pirate and board other ships to steal their loot. You will also discover many unique encounters such as Astral demons, ship versus ship battles, boarding other ships or even just annoying them during your journeys in the Astral.
The guild system greatly increases your opportunities and enhances your game experience in co-operative game play through specific raid encounters, some even being contested.
Whether you enjoy solo questing and discovering a world with lots of player versus environment content, or bashing other players with the player versus player mechanisms (and of course the ship versus ship in the Astral space), Allods Online is a lot of fun for all kinds of players. You can always stand aside all battles and just meet your friends in game and chitchat about whatever you like.
It is all up to you.
Allods Online has no subscription fees and you can play as long as you wish. All you need is a gPotato.eu/gPotato.com account. _____

Player versus Enviroment Content:
Gorluxors Tower - 24 man raid, second raid on the way - "Dead City".
Second Layer of Astral - Where you can find various islands where you can find gear, also the new Astral Heroic Instances which awards level 45 gear. The heroics is the same instances you will experience on your way to cap, but with new boss mechanics.
Third Layer of Astral - Pretty much the same as the second layer of astral, but harder. This layer is only available for level 47's which take quite a nice amount of time to get too, it's not mindless grinding on over 1 million mobs, but you need to complete a quest that requires you to collect 180 gems from second astral layer + 24.000 gold. For a more closer look click here
and alot of astral islands which is instanced, currently there is 26 instances and they usually give us 1-2 new each patch.
Both factions can do the same heroics, except that Empire cant do Oreshek fortress and League cant do XAES. The available heroics is XAES/Oreshek Fortress, Laguna Boil, Castle Blight, Darkblood Citadel, Lab 13 and Heart of Tensess Temple
This might not sound as alot of PvE Content, but trust me, it is. The Second astral layer will keep you busy for atleast 2 months due the new upgrade item system.
Mausoleum of Sparks - PvE arena, fight against waves of monsters, the more waves you clear the better is the rewards. For a more closer look click here _____
Player versus Player Content:
Arena - Each faction got a arena located just outside the capital where you can duel people from the same faction, this is mostly used when people wanna try out new specs and strategies.
Arena of Death - A faction versus faction arena, basically you fight for chests that award level 44 epics, these epics are not upgradable but worth collecting since they will help you a greatly to survive in Second Layer of Astral. This is a more detailed guide of how Arena of Death works. [Link] How ever, it is not updated yet for Astral Odyssey, but it is the same as it was before, except that it no longer drop Legendary Chests. - This is a endgame zone, so you have to be level 45 to enter. - [VIDEO]
Melting Isle - A open world PvP zone, same as in Arena of Death, you fight for chests that spawn, how ever this zone is FFS(Free for All) which means that you can attack everyone, even people from the same faction unless you are in a party/raid with them. This is a more detailed gude of how Melting Isle works. [Link] How ever, it is not updated yet for Astral Odyssey, but it is the same as it was before, except that it no longer drop Legendary Chests. - This is a endgame zone, so you have to be level 45 to enter. - [VIDEO]
June Catacombs - A PvPvE maze. More info here - [VIDEO]
Astral Confrontation - Guild versus Guild PvP, you bid on islands and those who bid the highest get to fight for control over it. More information here
Rebirth - When your character reaches level 46, a quest becomes available for you to be able to rebirth. Basically, it let you start over from level 4 on a new character, it will keep all your gold, runes, mounts, the cash shop tab in the bag etc. But for a more detailed description, click here
_____
Allods Online have been on some rough paths, especially after the expansion "Relevations of Gipat" but after the last expansion "Astral Odyssey" - The expansion that finally took Allods out from Beta to official launch. The game has stepped up, many features that turned the game for the worse, is now free.
Incense which boosted your damage was only available in Cash Shop when Relevations of Gipat launched, but now you dont need Incense to get the damage boost, but you still will need Incense to be able to go into the Second layer of Astral - But no worry, there is a daily quest to get a 24 hour cone of incense. Incense was not the only problem Relevations of Gipat gave us, there was also the new death penalty "Cursed Items" which basically reverted one item you have equipped, so instead of giving stats it removes stats and the only way to protect you against this curse was to buy a item called "Holy Charms" in the Cash Shop, how ever those are now free FOREVER in the Cash Shop
I really recommend trying this game out, the game is really shaping up. Alot of new faces are joining after the official release and alot of old faces is back. So SRF members, if you never tried Allods, I suggest you give it a shot, and you who played it before. Try playing it again, it isnt the good ol' Allods as many of us know it. But it close. _____

lol i kinda do this as well, specially on my paladin.
and hmm this game is nothing like wow ( pardoning gfx ) i found the game to be very fun and fluid. the game is pretty slow til lvl 10 but then it speeds up big time so if you noticed that dont get discouraged, it gets better. all in all one of the best games to have hit the market in quite some time.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken.

Hmm.. maybe I'll give it another go. Played to lvl5 with the orc that has a pet pig with him. The pet pig did a lot more dmg than I did so it was kinda fast to grind. Overall everything just seemed very sluggish. The thing that annoyed me the most was the slow camera movement. Even if I changed the mouse sensitivity to 4 it didn't make any difference.
just found out the changed the exp gain for beta to fit the lvl 10 cap, so leveling should go way faster after beta.
if you have a party of 3 or more people you can pretty much kill a mob your level in like 3 seconds.
Also if you guys notice, there's a purple exp bar and a blue exp bar, the blue bar is your fatique, if you level too much without going to an inn to rest you won't gain the exp. This it so that it prevents people from powerleveling.
Big thx to MasterKojito for making my sig

I don't know what it is about the purgatory but I just love the way it looks. The game's environment in general is very well done. I love playing my psionic and mage. Gonna try some of the melee classes soon too, just to get the feel of them.
BF3 ID: Alpinewolf007 Though I Fly Through the Valley of Death, I Shall Fear No Evil. For I am at 80,000 Feet and Climbing.
The purgatory is basically a place you go to when you die. You don't need to go pick up your corpse like WoW, basically its kinda like jail, you serve your time there and you'll be able to revive. However you can get an instant revive by paying the goblin some special money that you build up by leveling I think. So the more times you die in a short time the longer you have to wait per revive.
exsoldier: the big statue is just the guy that revives you I think, kinda like the guard between earth and heaven
Big thx to MasterKojito for making my sig
