Is it true they are making Tsro in a couple days? 2 friends of mine both said that by end of Nov they are making a tsro! I need some proof please or some facts that support if joymax is or not. I pray that they do! Because then we can finally have a true "Isro" C:

TSRO = Taiwan silkroad, it has been out for a long time but all non taiwan ips were banned some months ago.

He prob means Turkey SRO when infact they are just adding the turkish language to isro. For some crazy odd reason they are making it look like its some huge update. And it aint huge...

If anything iSRO needs to change its servers and split them in half so some are european and some are North american. This way they can adjust event times to not be 3am in the god damn morning and make them even from the time zone servers.

about time, for European it not comfortable too...
i leave in Poland, central Europe and gueass what, i can't participate Roc or FW coz i have to be on academy just like others who are in the school or work in the time of those events...
It looks like koreans think that whole the world lives in korean time zone >.<

I won't exclude the fact that he meant Th(sro) thailand sro that is about to have his launch son, atm it's in open beta..but from experience the lags are terrible, they don't have euro yet...cap is 80...same thing about RuSro that at the end of decenmber-ianuarie...will be lauched...

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's necessarily up to Joymax to make a Turkish SRO, or a Polish SRO, or a German SRO, or any other country.

The way I understand it, a company in Turkey (or any other country) would have to license the SRO server files from Joymax and host their own version. Local law might not allow them to just come in and start a new office to host servers for them.

I don't want Polish sro or other (personally i think polish sro would be horrible). We (i think all players from europe or us) events like FW or Roc in the time more familiar to our time zones. For example europe evening is US midday so it's propably the best time for those events

Also there will be no |Turkish sro, Joymax just add Turkish language into the isro client (I may be wrong but i think it's the point).
As far as i know csro is owned by company deffrent than Joymax

Joymax hosts the servers and provides updates and patches for the companies. Each company pays Joymax priority for updates ( new legends ) which is why each version gets an update different dates usually. From what I remember, those that license their version only moderate and help apply the patches since they do not "own" it directly. Only Yahoo! had split ownership of Ksro.

I guess I always assumed that the "other company" would actually host the servers. If the USA hosted its own servers, Americans would get better ping times than if we have to go all the way to Korea. Then again I guess it makes sense for Joymax to actually host the servers so they can control them better, and not have to trust the other company to not screw up their game (and Joymax's name).

As if Joymax needs any help screwing up their game or name. I'm always hopeful that they'll clean the game up though (a little off topic).

We dont need anymore versions of silkroad. We just need them to start seperating the servers and / or tweeking the events into certain "Time zones"

International Servers
North American Servers
European Servers

This way they can set the time zones on each server to the specific country from GMT to GMT+5 or something. If it did happen which it wont, it would make some servers more friendly as others can play in the correct time zone and correct country.

The only way this can be done now is to leave ALL the servers they have now as International servers. Creating 2 new divisions North American and European and setting each server to a specific time zone and aligning the events to decent times of the day.

4-5 servers to each division should be enough to start off. This idea is of course based off of other games that have done the same. It has been very successful with dealing events, cultures etc...
