The higher your parry, the lower the enemy will hit on you. So it is really important.

And I'm just going to give up. Light is clearly better for a str hybrid, but you can't get that into your head. And the 40% snowshield? you were talking about 60 ice, which gives 40% snow. But just read my reasons again why 60 ice is useless for a str (hybrid or not)

Sigh, why max it to 60 if you're not planning on using maxed ice. Like I said before, the imbue is worthless, the phy def is worthless at 90+, the ice wall maxed at 60 helps about the same as lvl 1, book 1....So the only reason 90+ chars max ice to 60 is for the snowshield. And a str hybrid can't maintain a 40% snowshield while pvping, that's for sure.

Sigh, why max it to 60 if you're not planning on using maxed ice. it doesnt have to be 60
i had light to 32 (whatever lvl was needed for phantam)
so then i would still be able to have 68 cold which gets the 3rd book for phys def
taking a higher snowshield (highest they can handle) will help no matter what
it doesnt have to be 40%
there are steps between snowshiled that lvl up
they could use book 1 lvl 3
or whatever they want
when i played at 78 i was bich/fire-77 light38 and cold-58
i was in npc gear some was +3 though
and i was able to pvp against lvl 79 ff sos +3 warrior/clerics
i dont think i would of been able to do it without the extra ice i added

the only reason i had light was for phantom walk
i used it a lot in pvp (and not to run)
i was a pure str blader so i didnt need to max cold
that is why i did that build
and agreed 30%ish would be good
so if that is all he wants he can just get that
i know devil has already chosen his build

I've always had pure builds so i thought it would be interesting to make a hybrid build and see how i do. I'll see how high i'll pull the snow shield since i'm gonna have more int then a pure str, i could manage a higher lvl. I'll see Thanks again.

I have yet to see a good str hybrid, why didn't you try out int hybrids? They are quite strong.

dunno, the blader that i'm making is on SJSRO (30* xp,sp) anyways, so it doesn't really matter. My main is on ISRO and it's a pure int s/s so i'm playing on SjSro till i can log on . So i didn't want to make a spear cause my friend has a pure int spear on Pacific that i can play. There's a shitload of bow builds so i didn't want to make that. I have a sworder and glaviers just don't interest me. So i ended with the blader

Yeah, theres 90 cap but in stead of 10D weapons at lvl 90 there are 11D . the skills i'm not sure, either lvl 70 or 90. Exp and SP rate is 30x and drop is 10x.

Youtube it, there were a couple of topics like 2 months back when kSRO got 11D update. But 9D is still the best looking IMO.

If I were you, I'd go Bich/Fire/Force. Mercury on Alexander was 5:1 and Fire/Force as well, and he was really strong.

agreed that dont need it
but its not the most fail
blader is the 1 build that doesnt need force (sure you can add more debuffs if some go away etc.)
but you are a tanker and should have enough time to get the debuffs off
the only benefits from force is higher mana and rez
which dont compensate for the other trees you can take that are better for a blader

Point taken about getting past the special pills. It still is probably the worst blader build aside light ice blader.

I dunno...I usually thought that too but it can be really strong if you know when to use the debuffs etc. Get debuffs, if they pill use force etc. It might actually work really well. You got impotent to lower damage so ice is not that needed, and if you have a decent blade and you do want more def. You could get 80fire/20ice/100force and bich.

yea you can add another debuff right after they use a special pill
and this can help but i think bladers can kill even without the debuffs
idk i just think theres too much sp to go into something that a blader already has
