Starting Again

Hello, I'm going to play Jade Dynasty again after the big expansion on the 12th (so i get that cool box ), But i still don't know what character i should make, i'm planning for a long run so it has to be good in Both pvp and pve. Cash Shop isn't a problem . So has anyone a suggestion? i was thinking about Jadeon, Modo or Lupin, or even a skysong :/

(ps: Is it true that you can change faction after ascension+rebirth?)

I am pretty sure you can change factions after ascension, but for PvE and PvP I think Skysong will do you good. It can do PvE very nice after 60-80ish when it gets better attack skills (its a pain to level it past 30 when Heavy Blow is useless). But it is a pretty nice overall build.

jadeon is good pve (low def but high AoE's) and not that good at pvp
vim is ok in pve (much def but not that much dmg) and great at pvp (blocks hits, stuns, etc)
lupin is ok in pve, good at pvp (highest crits come from lupins)
modo seems to do bad in pve (just have a hard time) but rocks at endgame pvp (1hits much)

or even a skysong :/

and you dont deserve a skysong after that comment. i'm not
even gonna go into detail on how awesome my skysong is at
tier 5 lol i'll save it for people that dont think they
suck without trying them out first

Thank you for the answers! the skysong :/ was not supposed to be like that, i meant it, or even a skysong. :/ (But i was too lazy...)

Maybe i'll roll a ss then, btw i have a lower pin on The Billows then on the europian server tho i'm from europe and the server is only 2hours driving away from me... But is it a problem with like the time and such if i roll on the billows?

EDIT: Isn't it better to roll a vim, and decide a character after ascension? xD. or i'll just roll my SkySong, anybody has got some screenshots of the armour? i can't decide which gender

im from europe myself, some events are in the middle of the
night, like at 00.00am, the biggest xp event for me is from
2.30am till 4.30am so i rarely ever do them. but still i'm
in the top150 level-wise, so it's definitely do-able without
participating in all those events.

lol if i'd plvl you i'd get you to lvl 50 in no time

and vims and skysongs have similar defense, skysongs have
defense buffs, extremely handy on higher level. difference
is skysongs are ranged so they can usually kill faster
since they have to run less. vims have better stat in pvp
because they can block up to i think 10-12 hits at high lvl.

ok, but one thing i really hated about the skysongs is that nazi attack (with the buddhist symbol) do you have them at higher lvl's too? it really irritates me, idk why...

I got that skill and its a esper skill not skysong.

edit: nvm thats sorrow's blessing. But I am Hindu so I should tell you I don't think it is meant to be the same as the nazi symbol. Hindu's use that symbol for peace or something (not too sure I am not too religious so I am not 100% sure on what it meant).

relating that thing to nazi's, so blame yourself for thinking
it looks like that.

and thats the tier 1 heal skill. OF COURSE you will get other
skills later on.

lol. the symbol is buddhist, as you said hitler reversed it.
this is the NOT REVERSED version, so it has NOTHING to do with
hitler, besides people like you saying it has something to do

I'm going to create a modo tommorow! Dollar is low, so i'm going to buy zen in bulk xD and i get that treasure chest, it's really helpfull, it gives mounts and potions at every 5 lvls, it even gives lvl 105 chi @lvl 100 and a skyblade @55. It's only for new characters tho

I do, I read the Admins post but it said nothing about mounts and skyblades. I doubt they would give a skyblade or else everyone would start making new characters.

SRF is just too good
