Need more deets. Like what size? What kind of room will the TV go into (Dark/Bright)? What will you be using it for? come on man deets.

LED tv's are like the newest of the newest...Way too expensive for now and ofcourse with probably alot of flaws for the next few years.

LED-backlit LCD TVs do differ from conventional LCD TVs in some important areas[3]:
* They can produce an image with greater dynamic contrast compared with LCD TVs.
* With Edge-LED lighting they can be extremely slim. Current models on the market are just over 25mm thick.
* They consume much less power. About 40% less compared with an LCD TV of a similar size.
* They can offer a wider color gamut, especially when RGB-LED backlighting is used.
* Lesser environmental pollution on disposal.
* Higher cost due to current market product placement

Also Plasma are cheaper than LCD and have darker blacks and better for sports/other fast moving on the screen, unless you have a LCD with 120hz+
